Great picture and color. Fairly lightweight so it was easy to wall mount. Brightness and sound are really good.

I love my Sony TV the picture is like being in the movies e.g. it has clarity, depth, and brilliant color. It's just like looking at rainbow. I was going to purchase a Samsung and the salesman asked if he could show me a TV that was just as good as a Samsung and affer he compared the two brands I decided to purchase the Sony because Sony was around before Samsung.

This is the first Sony TV I have ever purchased and at first was skeptical. This particular model is great, it has a beautiful picture and with the builtin apps I can stream without having to add an additional device. This TV was a suggestion and I am glad I broke out of my mold and purchased this Sony TV. I will shopping for another one with a month.

This is a great tv for the price. I was looking at several tvs in this category but needed one to fit in my cut out. I measured the other 48 tvs but they were barely to big. This tv has almost no trim and was able to fit in the space. It has been great to watch sports on. That is what I use it most for but have watched a few movies as well. Got it on sale and good deal for the money.

Now,remember this IS a BASIC smart TV,ie NO web browser and you cannot add anything to what's already offered,may be as time goes on that will change,but if like me you already have Netflix and Amazon Prime your set for entertainment!This TV offers HDMI arc too.The picture is superb,so,in short,if the noted limitations don't bother you then this is a great value and well worth the $$$ spent.I have a DVD and Nintendo connected and both work well without issue. Initial set up was a breeze and should be noted my WiFi routeris on the first floor this tTV is on the second at the other end of the house and has NO connection issues at all. Didn't care much for using M6 bolts as they are small to hold such a large TV in place but compared to most this is lighter.YES there IS flexibility in the screen but seen as its mounted on the wall there is no issue,I can imagine that were it free standing on the supplied stand there may be some vibration thru the set at high volume via a surround sound or theatre system In closing,well worth the money spent.

Insightful/honest crew at the Geneva, IL store listened to the requirements that I needed in a television for my parents and helped me make the decision to purchase this unit. I am traditionally a Samsung guy, have all Samsungs in my home but my parents had Sony A/V equipment so I figured I would take Sony for a test run. I have to say, the picture on this unit is fantastic, slightly better than Samsung's, IMO. Setup was a breeze, no easier than Samsung, but thought that I'd mention that. The sound quality, like all flat panels, is nothing to brag about but that's the trade-off with flat designs. If you are running through external A/V equipment, this is moot. For a very affordable approach, pick up a sound bar for a couple hundred and it will do just fine. One thing to note is that if you are mounting this make/model to the wall, the mounting pattern on the television is not centered height-wise. It is obviously centered width-wise, but you need to take into account this layout if you are looking for a very specific height location that you are trying to hit. Summary, great TV that I bought at a great price (black Friday Deal). Even if this was not a black Friday deal I would buy this unit again, knowing what I know now.

This television was one of the more reasonably priced 48" at the store, and we trusted the Sony brand, so we chose this one. It has a very nice crisp picture and the sound is quite good also. As we were new to the Smart TV arena, we hired a tech from our cable tv provider to come to our house to install the tv (for $50), something that I recommend to those who are not tech savvy.

Some reviews noted a problem with the sound without using a sound bar. We did not encounter that problem at all. Assembly and set up instructions weren't the clearest, but it didn't really take that long to figure out. Good picture, good sound, easy to use features. We are very happy with our purchase.

I've been shopping around for a new tv for a while and knew I wanted a Sony. Read all the reviews and found it onsale right after Christmas for a price I couldn't pass up. What an amazing tv! The picture and sound are amazing and really clear. Great size tv as well and so easy to set up. Highly recommend!

Overall, I'm pleased with the television. It has a pretty good picture quality, is lightweight, so it was easy for me to carry into my house. My biggest problem with it is that I had to pay to have it installed because the installation directions made absolutely no sense to a novice.
