Good display, not good Android TV.

The display looks great. I chose this because of the low profile stand and it just barely fit in the corner of my house. Wish the remote was backlit, but a plus is that it works automatically with PS5 when steaming or playing blu-ray without me doing any setup. However, the underlying smart TV features are very infuriating. WiFi connection is poor, when video game systems and streaming devices sitting next to the TV have no trouble with connection. Worse is that when it drops WiFi connection, a banner pops up on screen even if you're not using the WiFi feature at the time. I couldn't find info in the manual online on how to disable the banner. Chromecast doesn't work either, when the source works with another Sony TV. I ended up just not connecting the TV to internet since it is so useless in that regard.

With one month in the book with this Sony 48 inch Bravia T.V. I can say this is one of the best Sony T.V.'s I've ever had. Great picture and the sound is better then I though without a sound bar. It comes with a center mount stand so it will fit on a smaller width T.V cabinet , in other words if you have a cabinet that fits up a 32 inch T.V. you can still use it and you won't have to buy a new one for 50 inch or wider. The center mount is low so if you do use a sound bar don't plan on placing it in front of the screen as it will block the lower part of the screen. The screen is glass and a little heavy so have a second person on hand to help you move it on to your stand or wall mount. The price is a bit high on this T.V. but I do have to say you get what you pay for with this one!

Great TV, especially for my wife’s smaller TV room. Fits perfectly, great picture, good price point. Seriously considered getting a larger screen for the larger area.

The picture and quality of sound in this TV are top notch. The embedded Android software is very touchy, so configuring your subscription accounts is no easy matter. Pro Tip: update the firmware and reboot the TV often before frustrating yourself with why Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+, and other logins won't work properly.

Wonderful picture but tv has had connection errors, clicking noises while the tv was off, and it all lead up to the tv just not working. I honestly hoped this tv lasted long and I’m not saying Sonys product is crap but maybe I received a bad one

Pros The picture quality of this TV is amazing. I have a QLED and LG Nano This TV has a better pic quality than both. How True OLED. Even old movies look like HD on it Great Sound Quality like I am using a home speaker Cons( my opinion) Bottom of screen rests of surface Remote design could be better Position of the HDMI makes it hard to plug in long usb streamers without an extension

It’s an OLED: with no Hi-frame rate, and limited HDR support on HDMI input… However, for everything else it is perfect for our needs, my daughter uses this as a TV/Media/Gaming/Monitor machine… no complaints

Wonderful TV at present. Almost no complaints. Do wish it came with a learning remote, so it could control my receiver (volume, power, etc). As it stands, I have to use two remotes, or use my Harmony remote, which isn't perfect when interacting with the Android TV interface.

Got this tv on sale for 700. Worth every dollar! If you are looking for clean, clear, vibrant viewing. You can't go wrong with an OLED. This Sony OLED 48" has great speakers, and a built-in chrome cast, so if it doesn't have the apps available on the app store, you can stream whatever you want directly from your phone! Watching TV and movies on this has given me an entirely new experience. definitely recommended if you can get it for a great price.

I’ve been wanting to buy a smaller size Sony OLED TV for sometime, but they were usually well over my price point! So, when our 6 year old Samsung HDTV started acting up recently we decided to start looking for a replacement OLED TV that would fit in our smaller size living room. As luck would have this Sony model XBR48A9S (48”) was on sale for a great price at Best Buy. We can’t say enough about how much we love our new Sony XBR TV. The 48” size fits nicely in our living room and the picture quality is consistently excellent! As a retired electronics tech I really appreciate the quality of Sony products!

Have only had for a few weeks. That said, terrific TV thus far. Beautiful color. Set up was very logical. It would be great if the stand were a bit higher, but a riser did the trick.

This TV is perfect for our space. It’s a very clear picture, with noticeable color difference from my old Toshiba 4K that was having issues. Would buy again, especially on sale.
