The picture quality is excellent with this television. When watching action programs, one gets the feeling of actually being at the event. Adding a sound bar makes the sound almost theater quality. Also adding a universal remote allows many devices to be controlled with one remote. The center base makes it a good fit for a smaller tv stand. Might add that the Geek Squad to set it up and make sure all was correct was well spent money.

Just purchased this from Best Buy for a reasonable price. I've found Sony Bravia to be the best and most reliable brand so far. I bought this to replace a 42 in Bravia LCD which still has a great picture. I've heard the smart features on this TV are not very impressive so I'll propably use the bluRay connected to the TV for most of my smart programs.

Bought this for a Christmas gift. It has very Good Picture Quality and the price was Very Reasonable!

Bought it for the bedroom. Easy to navigate and use. Good picture and sound. Perfect for what I needed.

I have not had the TV for a long time. I have not tried the internet access yet. The picture is great. The sound quality is excellent. I use the cable remote control to access the TV but I do use the Sony remote and I do not see an issue. I will review the TV again in the future when I stream programs via the internet but I am not now.

Functions as expected. Slightly cumbersome/confusing set up process. Long time buyer of Samsung TVs, but so far so good.

The sound is not as sharp as I would expect. It has a ‘tinney’ sound. Sometimes it is hard to hear the voices clearly.

The tv's picture was beautiful. What makes it a bad purchase is that fact that it's not so smart. The "smart" user interface was unimpressive. What made me eventually exchange the tv for a different brand was the fact that the limited apps available to download from the Opera app store were terrible. No Amazon app, no spotify, etc. We buy tons of movies to stream from Amazon for the kids and this tv gave us no way to watch them without buying additional hardware. If all you want to do is watch cable tv, this is a fine tv. But with all the options available today I would go a different route.

Great picture and sound. I bought this TV for my parents and they love it. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because the TV only has 2 hdmi inputs. I read all the reviews and no one mentioned this factor and I didn't look up all the specs before I bought the TV. This is the only down fall with this TV.

TV is great for a small room, great quality and price.

Great picture quality not a true smart TV but if you are like me and do not buy a TV for the internet then no problem. Only real complaint is it does not have the normal Component video input jacks .It uses a supplied adapter that just seems strange. But since all of my components are HDMI except for an old Nintendo Wii that's OK.

The size and picture quality along with the smart features was everything I was looking for

I was looking for a bigger TV but didn't want to spend a lot of money and since I have two other Sony TV's that are great, I figured I couldn't go wrong with a Sony. Let me say that while this TV is not great, it's not that bad either (for the price). If you care about the picture quality though, look elsewhere. As far as watching blu-ray movies though, the picture is excellent (once you calibrate the picture) but watching cable TV (1080i) it was just not that good. My wife thought it was fine but I'm just too particular and thought it would be best to take it back and invest our money in a better TV. So we exchanged it for the Sony KDL50W800C, which offers a much better picture and has a lot more features.

I love this TV. Bought it after returning two 50" Insignia TVs. I haven't had a single issue with this TV, aside from my roommate remotely casting random videos from his phone while I'm playing a game. (He does it as a joke...) The sound is great, perfect for playing music while I'm cooking, or for blasting my favorite TV show. The picture quality is top notch for a 1080p. Exactly what I'd expect from a Sony.
