Great picture, good sound! If you're looking for a good entry level tv, this one works perfect. The only downside is the location of the HDMI on the back side. If you hang it on the wall it's nearly impossible to plug in the back side HDMI as the wall mount is in the way, poor design. However there's another port.

Looked at many Monitors and found this to be the best for the price, size and features.

I upgraded from a 40" 720p TV for the living room. I knew I didn't want a monster TV, so thought this would be enough. The picture is good. All the action is crisp while watching basketball and football. After having it home for several weeks, I wish I had opted for the 55" model but that is not the TVs fault. ;)

We weren't expecting to find such a great TV at such a great price - - but we love looking through Best Buy's open-box inventory. The first thing we watched when our Bravia Sony was set up was football. What a beautiful picture!

The Sony 48 class television is a great value and with a magnificent picture. We have had Sony TVs for many years and it continues a tradition of excellence. The only challenge was getting it hooked up with our VCR but it could have been done easier with better instructions and the right interface equipment.

This TV has a great picture and sound. Easy to use smart features and remote.

The picture is so clear. It was easy to set up. Now I can enjoy the football season!

I have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive before purchasing this television but with a name like Sony, I was like how could I go wrong. I am throughly impressed with this tv and it's quality. It's the perfect size for my living room. Coupled with my Sony blu-ray player, it's a win win in my book!!

I purchased as an additional TV for game room. I highly recommend the Greek Squad Protection Plan on any electronic devices. The cost of repair out of manufactures warranty would make it a throw away TV. It has inputs for devices and is a "smart" enabled tv - although I have not connected it to internet.

The only problem we have with this purchase is, it makes us want to upgrade our other TVs to HD with the APP function. An added feature that would make it even more desirable is if it would connect wirelessly to our modem. We currently have to physically connect our laptop to the TV to stream our college football game. Overall, the picture quality and user interface is very good.

This may not be one of the new 4K ultra hd tvs but the picture quality and resolution are great! I don't think you could possibly ask for a better tv under $500! I have always had and always will purchase Sony when it comes to home entertainment! I made the mistake of purchasing a Samsung in the same category as this Sony and the Samsung went out on me after only 8 short months! Sony for life!
