I bought this TV for my son because he recently got a ps4 and felt that his current TV was a little too small. I decided to grab this one and go with it. Overall colors are good, the smart functionalities are very nice.

This tv is just the right size for the room. It's not too large that it overtakes the whole room but it offers great viewing. The picture is clear and bright and it is easy to use. The value for the dollar was excellent. We have bought 2 of these televisions.

I bought an LG tv then exchanged for a Vizio. I then exchanged the Vizio and got the Sony. Third time is the charm! I love this tv! Great picture quality and easy to set up. I am satisfied with my purchase.

This Samsung replaced a 50" Panasonic plasma that was about 9 years old, and had a GREAT picture. This unit matches or exceeds that picture, depending on the channel quality. It was easy to set up, and the default settings provided a great picture right out of the box.

This television has a sharp picture good sound. It has been an enjoyable experience.

We like the crispness and resolution of this SONY product and the natural colors.

This Sony TV has the best picture I have seen. I love that it is a smart TV. There is no need to hook up another device in order to stream Netflix, which I watch almost daily. Slim size and look.

I've had this TV 3 weeks and some weird transparent green bar appeared at the bottom of the screen. It went away after cutting the TV off and back on. But I'm not taking any chances with a TV having glitches this early. Other than that the TV has performed relatively well. Haven't had any problems with it staying connected to my WiFi like other reviews, although it did have trouble connecting to Netflix a couple times. About what you'd expect from a 500 dollar TV. But I expect more from a Sony brand TV I've had a 55NX720 model no problems for four years

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. It was easy to set up and has a great picture. This was a better tv than I had planned on purchasing,the sales person suggested this set because it had more features and better picture for the same price.

I have always had Samsung TV's but when we needed a new one my husband 100% wanted to go with Sony. I'm glad I trusted him! This TV has great sound and image quality, easy to set up and the integrated Netflix button on the remote is a small plus that I love :)

I started 'big screening' about 10 years ago with a rear projection 36" Sony. It was a big step up from the JVC flat tube I had. The rear projection set impressed the buyers of my house so much they wanted dit in the deal. Went to another brand, sure did miss the Bravia features. Bought a 32" Sony for the bedroom, it ended up at my daughters she liked it so much. It became obvious it was time to replace the 5 year old system with a little bigger one, and moving from a 36 to a 40 inch made a WORLD of difference. Solved interface problems with Sony surround system trying to connect to non-Sony TV. And moving to LED, absolutely fantastic. You can count the threads in the Presidential candidates suits. Even the non-technical wife is impressed! Bravia engine, LED display, just like having your own picture window to whatever you want to watch, and in stunning detail.

I needed an upgrade for my home office. Purchased the Sony Smart HD. Beautiful HUGE 48" picture. Has all the smart apps. Now I can watch all my favorite news and sports in 1080p HD and not leave my office! Perfect TV for my office!

I bought this TV along w/ an Apple TV for my mom. It came well packed and was very easy to install and use, Pros: Easy to Install/ Use Good Picture Quality Good functionality for the Value Cons: None - It is a great buy

Excellent tv at a great price. Love the picture quality and sound.

Don't get me wrong the TV works great and has a great picture however some of the options can be tricky to get working such as the WiFi direct. Overall for what we paid about $500 its not a bad deal. Speakers are in the bottom of the TV which definitely impacts the sound, especially if you mount on the wall. Would recommend a sound bar even if this isnt going to be your main tv.

A feature packed SmarTV for a very reasonable price. Colors are lifelike and vibrant. Bought this TV to replace my 14-year old Sony Trnitron - which was extremely big and bulky. The slimline feature of this new HDTV is a welcomed sight.

The only reason I did give this tv a 5 star rating is there is no web browser. Otherwise it is great. Easy to set up and great picture quality. A very good tv for the price.
