Overall a good tv. Picture is nice and colors good. The only bad thing about the tv is the second HDMI input is right behind were the wall mounting bracket is. I had to use spacers and just barley got my chromecast to plug in. A normal HDMI plug would not have been able to fit. If you need both HDMI inputs to be used and you are mounting on the wall it is going to be a problem.

Picture is excellent, and setup instructions clearly written and easily implemented. Replaced a competitor's television that suddenly lost all video after 2 1/2 years use. Quoted cost to repair that TV was about same as buying a new TV from that competitor. Bought SONY which has provided reliable service for VCRs, Blue Ray DVDs, Receivers, and other TVs over many years. Would have preferred that this SONY TV had kept the previous stand design rather than the current stand design, however. That stand design change is why review has 4 stars rather than 5 stars.

Great TV. More features than I realized until it was set up. I just wanted to get a low priced larger screen TV for my basement rec room. Ended up that I received a lot more for my money than expected.

We're happy with the size and picture quality. Really like the Smart TV aspect so one click gets you to Netflix, Amazon, etc. The price was good ($400).

The pictures on the TV is clear but the only drawback is there is no No or Off button. It also has just 2 hdmi ports so if you have more than 2 HDMI connectable device this is not for you.

We bought this TV to replace our 2 year old Vizio Razor smart tv because the picture went out. The pros to this TV is I like the remote, great picture and sounds pretty good without using extra speakers. The cons is that the "smart" capabilities are not as impressive as it was with the Vizio. It seems to take MUCH longer to connect to apps like netflix and doesn't have HULU available. Pretty often I have to restart when connecting to netflix because it seems to freeze or I get try again error messages. I would still recommend this tv because of the great picture and sound.

Love this TV. It is light and was super easy to set up and connect to cable, in-home Wi-Fi and Netflix. Beautiful picture.

I purchased this tv as a gift for my elderly parents. They are delighted with the quality of the picture and the vibrant colors. They are pleased with the "smart" feature as they can watch Netflix.

I bought this TV to replace a 20-year old TV that wouldn't die!! I love the apps and features. It was easy to setup and the picture is clear and great color!!

I absolutely love this tv. The Blu-rays look amazing and colorful. The PS4 also looks amazing. Watching Netflix looks great as well but its only what streaming is capable of doing. Definitely worth picking up. My only grip is the smart capabilities is a little wonky. Netflix works but sometimes it takes awhile to properly connect. It could be the tv or my cox internet. Also, sometimes the tv doesn’t respond and i have to unplug it. It’s like a once a month or every other month. Depends if I use the amazon prime or Hulu.

My old television stopped working on Superbowl Sunday morning! I quickly did some research and headed to BestBuy. As you can imagine, it was a very busy day in the TV area. Lucky for me, a Sony representative was in the store and jumped right in to confirm I was making a good choice, he showed me the floor model while going back over the features, etc. He had the unit sent up to the front of the store while a BestBuy rep completed the sale. I walked out of the store, pulled up my car and they loaded it for me. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The most important part is our pleasure with our purchase. It has a beautiful picture and we truly enjoyed the best part of the Superbowl...the commercials!

I needed another smart tv but did not want to spend a lot of money. This Sony more than met my expectations, both in picture quality and price. It does everything I need and very easy to operate..love it.

We are VERY pleased with our new 48" Sony TV! The size is PERFECT for our mater bedroom. The product is exceptional, very clear and fabulous color. Overall high marks for this TV!!!

Rating is really 4.5. Picture with motion/sports is very good with the better refresh rate. Reduction only for sound quality which is just okay from TV speakers without going to amplified speakers.

No complaints with this TV. The picture quality is good and I have had good reliability with the onboard apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube. They have been stable and seem to always work. This was a concern because there are so many bad reviews for Smart TV apps on many other tv's where reviewers claim of apps being buggy or just don't work. This TV has done well for me in the 5-6 months I've had it thus far.

Needed a TV quick and this Sony fit the bill at a very fair price. Picture is crisp, handles motion very well and sound is acceptable.

Was looking for a tv for my kids play room. This was perfect! Didnt need a 4K tv in there. The 1080p is awesome picture on this. Love the fact that it is a smart tv. It's the perfect size

Love my new tv. Perfect for my bedroom. I have a 4K Bravia in the front room. Howerever this one compares pretty well not being 4K but what can you expect? It’s Sony. Quality!

The TV connects easily to the internet to stream content for services like NETFLIX. The picture is great but I find the sound to be lacking and am shopping for a sound bar to go with it. The size is great. Very slim.

I had to buy a tv quick cause ours was broken during a move. I only buy Sony tvs and this one was the right price. Works fine looks great. Add a Sony blu-ray player and you're done
