I was looking for a 4K smart tv with a good tuner, sized to fit a video cabinet I already owned. After months of research, I thought I wanted a Samsung, both the only one my local Best Buy had that fit both my price range and the cabinet was delivered with a broken screen! Plus - it was short on inputs, so I went with the Sony 49 inch 4K UHD Smart TV, which was MUCH more robustly constructed, and had more inputs . . . with a lower price! Turned out to be a VERY good choice, as it has a "Signal Diagnosis" feature that helped me "tune" my antenna's location and placement for the strongest possible signal out here in a fringe reception area. Also has lots of apps for content from Netflix, PBS and YouTube, among others, that seems to "speed up" my wi-fi system, to ensure the data keeps up without buffering . . . most of the time. VERY good color and contrast fidelity, plus about 6 different video response profiles, and an equal number of pre-loaded audio profiles, in addition to full-manual tweaks, when you really get into making those final adjustments to make it all perfect. A VERY good smart TV for the price.

Amazing color, clarity and love the large screen!!

We loved our new TV. It had a great picture. We love Sony products. We have a 40" Sony that's about 10 years old that we moved to another room. We ended up returning this TV to get a 55" Sony because it didn't seem much bigger than our other one but otherwise it was an awesome tv & Best Buy is great to work with.

I originally purchased a 4K LG but didn't like how the picture looked and returned it. I contemplated buying the less expensive Sony but went for the 700D and glad that I did, the picture and brightness are excellent, audio is excellent and functionality makes sense. I am going to buy another for my bedroom.

I normally buy Samsung TVs but I walked in and only looked at picture quality and not prices. It came down to the Sony and a Samsung but the Sony edged out the Samsung and we have been happy with the choice. Picture is very impressive. Sound quality is mediocre but I run it through a Polk soundbar system anyway.

I waited a long time to purchase a new tv. I am SO pleased with my purchase. Clear, crisp picture, great sound, compact and adds so much to my family room. The wall mounting was done by a Best Buy technician who did an excellent job. 5 stars does not cover this purchase. I would give it a 10,,,,

Excellent TV, although maybe in the store side-by-side you'll see some subtle differences... when you get this home, the picture quality is amazing and won't have anything to complain about! Definitely reccommend this TV over its more expensive counterparts, especially if you don't need any upconversion.

This TV provides an awesome picture as it is my 2nd Sony Android TV! I love the features of Android TV along with Google Home it completes the voice experience. The 700D series (2016)did not come with PIP or the Bluetooth voice remote I received with my 850C (2015). Still waiting on the Android 6.0 update.

Upscaling capability of Sony is second to none. Awesome 4K picture and HDR looks great. The backlit LED does great in our living room with lots of windows and ambient light. We bought 3 new TV's for our new house and they are all Sony!

I've always been a sony tv person so I jumped on this deal. No 3D capability is the only reason for no 5 stars along with the menus being complicated. I mean the online menus. Samsung is easier bas d of my relatives Samsung tv. Now the clarity of the screen is awesome and even the sound is great! The look and stand and the best out there. And I just love a sony!

I am quite happy with this television on all levels. The size of the viewing area is perfect. The image is crystal clear and sharp. The refresh rate is also excellent and you cannot see any pauses or blurring from any movement. The apps are also great too! I absolutely love this television!

The 4K Ultra HD picture is simply stunning. Granted, there is not a lot of 4K shows and movies right now, but it will get better. Netflix is a good place to look for 4K programming. The TV does up convert the HD signal, which is a plus. One drawback to this TV is the speakers, but what flat panel TV has great speakers? A speaker system is a must for good quality sound.

TV is awesome! Picture quality is amazing! I have no true 4K HDR content to fully enjoy this TV, but even whatching 1080p or BluRay is better than I imagined. The physical set up was easy, but the settings did take some reading of instructions. Overall highly recommended after one month of use!

I have had this TV for a while and it's really great! Smart (Really smart) it is. It's a pleasure to keep looking and finding WAY more features and menus and apps and...so much than even advertised , I love it!! Best Buy was great, a very smooth and quick purchase. Ya gotta love it !
