Many users also express satisfaction with the TV's color reproduction, price point, and size. Now remember you are paying for the Sony name. Extra money for the use of their name. TVs come in levels so watch out on low in numbers even in Sony TVs. This one is the upper end of their series line. You can adjust color to a great color image. I find a video on YOUTUBe of parrots then adjust the color till the parrots look real life. Makes it easy. Sound quality is good no need for sound bar.

I love this new tv. It was very easy to set up, and it views quite well. Even the sound is better than most, and I have not had to add a sound bar. The only downside is I cannot hook it up to my older model Denon amp as it has no audio out RCA jacks

This was a major purchase and I did a great deal of research before buying this TV. Although it was more expensive than other brands, if you want the best you have to pay a little extra. On-line reviews, including technical reviews validated that this Sony is a better TV than the less expensive brands. It has a sophisticated processor and produces an outstanding picture that is crystal clear. Colors are bright and true. It's easy to set up and so far has performed flawlessly. If you want the best, spend a bit more and buy a Sony.

Bought this Sony after returning a 50" Samsung back to Costco. Was unhappy with picture and washed out picture when viewed at angle on the Samsung. Sony has much better picture and easy setup. The only drawback was having to buy directly from Sony, an RCA adaptor cord to utilize my Wii console. It only cost $18 but that was after trying out a 3rd party adapter thru Walmart that did not work with the Sony. The Samsung TV that I returned to Costco actually came with that RCA adapter. If it wasn't for that, I'd have given the review 5 stars.

I have owned, and still own, several 4k tvs. This Sony is the best of them without doubt. Coming most recently from Samsung and TCL 6 series 4k TVs, it took me some time to adjust to this Sony not having what others refer to as "over-saturation" of colors that the Samsung and TCL do, which provides a dreamy-yet-unrealistic picture. The Sony picture is, without qualification, superb, to the point that I'm considering replacing the TCL 55R615 in the living room with a Sony as well. As other reviewers have noted, Android TV is clunky and slow. I use Roku exclusively so not an issue for me, but I did spend enough time checking out the included Android TV to come to agree. The speakers are pretty bad. Soundbar recommended.

The picture and motion are top notch on this tv, something Sony does better than the rest. Gaming is also great with the ps4 Pro. I had heard that gaming on non 4K devices would be bad because of the input lag but I don’t notice it at all. I tried both Wii U and switch and both are great. I give it 4 stars because of the home menu and apps. Sort of laggy and cumbersome. But if you want a tv that can show movies and play games with great detail, then this tv is for you.

After upgrading from Vizio, I totally recommend Sony. User friendly, great picture and the look is sleek. One downside is the remote can be finicky. The voice control is off and on and the buttons can stick.

I purchased this model about 6 months ago does a very good job of making tv shows look great. Steaming 4k is excellent easy navigation for apps. Google assistant works fairly well some lag. Some bads still has the same old sony remote you would think sony would have a newer version for this model. Also this model is not compatible with apple TV or apple tv+ you can stream apple tv on a roku. Over all a very nice tv fits well in our master bedroom .

I love my Sony 49" Class - LED - X900F Series Smart TV. The quality of the picture on the screen is crystal clear. I have not had any problems with this television since I bought it. I had a little trouble setting it up, but I called Sony customer's service and they walked me through it. In a matter of fact, I have three Sony televisions in my home and they all have crystal clear screen. I will not buy any other brand of TV than Sony.

I purchased this TV as an open box from the store. I only bought it because I got it for a good deal. I thank the heavens that I got it before the quarantine. This TV is beautiful. The picture for movies and gaming is incredible. I’d recommend using a sound bar or hooking it up to speakers. They have recently put these on super sale probably to move them for a newer model. If you’re in the market for a new TV and don’t want to spend too much, look at this model.

I upgraded from a 2005 42inch Samsung DLP TV because it was dumb as a rock. It had a great picture but it didn’t come close to picture quality this TV had. I was amazed at the clarity right out of the box. I did play around with the menu settings a bit to adjust the picture to my preferences. This was easy to do. Setting up Netflix and Hulu was easy. The only problem I had was streaming video. It wasn’t the fault of the TV, but with my cable provider. The videos did a lot buffering. They corrected the problem.

My wife has early macular degeration. we needed a tv with the sharpest possible picture without being what she considers huge. I wanted the 55 inch model but got outvoted. The 49 inch has been perfect. The picture is great and the size not overwhelming. We stream and and use an antenna and it's perfect for both. An excellent choice for us. We paid $1000.00 and a couple of weeks later it was on sale for $900.00. I called Best Buy and with their price guarantee they refunded the difference.

I decided it was time to replace my 8 year old Sony Bravia, and brought two competitors home. Neither was as good at the 8 year old Sony, so I took them back and went for the top of the line 2019 model Sony. It has been a near perfect experience - easy to shop for, easy setup at home, and incredible picture quality. I'm sure no one who goes the extra dollar to buy this quality will be disappointed!

Sure you can get similar TVs at much lower prices but none of them will have the SONY quality in picture or sound. This was a purchase for my bedroom and I went back and forth with several other brands - some being half the price - but in the end its another SONY in my household. Even at around 1,000.00 its still an incredible value and will last forever. Look for it to go on sale. I purchased the same TV for 100.00 less around the holidays (gift).
