I've been using this cam for my hd fpv truck. hdmi output latency is similar levels of a gopro. The optical stabilization really makes this camera stick out from the pack. One thing to note is that you should look online for compatible uc1 3 speed micro sdcards because this camera can be finicky with recording at 100mb/sec bandwidth. There's only a hand full of cards that work at that level.

Great camera love it but there's a lot of wind Interfering With the microphone, If it's windy outside And it doesn't do 4k 60fps only 4k @ 30 fps.

This camera is awesome. I like it better than my GoPro Hero 4 Silver. The fish eye effect is minimal and the image stabilization is superior. Records in 4K. Mounting options are fewer but if you get creative you'll be fine. Make sure to use a lens cover or the supplied enclosure. No lens replacement available.

Great camara for filming underwater and taking pictures, however the sound is something that Sony could improve on, with no wind noice reduction, it could also use and external screen to see what you filmed.

Did extensive research and this is the top action camera out there! Better than the current GoPro Hero 5 and Session 5 due to OIS. Did not want a shaky video like others i've seen so I bought this. GoPro is definitely more rugged but I think this is better for everyday videos.

Chose this over a Hero5 black and glad I did. Optical image stabilization is totally worth it. Recently took this to Hawaii, and shot a ton of footage on land and below water - worked great!

Amazaing Amazing little action camera. Much better than a gopro, has built in optical image stabilization that creates a night and day difference in stability when compared to a gopro.

was torn between this and the gopro. Very happy with the decision.

The camera creates good video, but for running, it's shape lends to a little too much bouncing around (compared to a GoPro). The menus are very clunky to go through, and it is hard to tell one menu icon from another on the old-school LCD screen. When it comes to powering on or starting a recording, that's its strength. Those buttons work better than anything on the GoPro, including the GoPro voice commands. It will be interesting to see if Sony pushes for another action camera update. This technology aligns with the GoPro Hero 5.

Awesome little action cam. The BOSS works wonders on your footage. 4k is beautiful on this camera. And the option to add an external mic without an adapter makes this camera even better.

We bought this to record our high school soccer games. Nice camera, good recording quality, easy to use. Highly recommended.

I've tried them all, GoPro, Xiomi, etc. This Sony is great, the stabilization is amazing and the 4k is excellent. I use it all the time.

This action camera is awesome. I just wish more accessories were available for it from Best Buy.

Great camera, but after time the glue on the lens falls off and your image becomes distorted.
