An Underrated, Affordable Hidden Gem!

Just an excellent tv all around. Upscales everything to 4K with the XR processor and the results are top notch. Dolby Vision is breathtaking on this display. As well as IMAX Enhanced content. Just a great model that comes updated with everything you are looking for in a 4K tv in this day and age. Anybody looking for a natural look to whatever you watch then this is the perfect tv. Not too bright, not too dark - just in between with a perfect blend of both for a very naturalistic look. On top of that, its quite affordable for those on a budget but totally worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Nice TV with some minor issues.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to use my Geek Squad extended warranty (a highly recommended item) to replace my LG TV that started to develop white streaks in the picture when used. On the whole, I like the Sony but when turned on it does not go directly to my Xfinity box connection (like the LG) but brings up a menu of a range of channel options available to the user. Several times I have had to use the Sony and Xfinity remote to access my designated Xfinity HDMI connection. Also, the user manual and TV help menu seem a little on the weak side to me. I had to use my Consumer Reports and other on line resources to setup the TV picture to my liking. I cannot comment on the TV’s sound quality since I have the TV connected to my JBL soundbar.

Great but with minor flaw

However there is a minor glitch, where I have to perform a hard reset. Sometimes when I turn TV on, the screen malfunctions and shows a bunch of colored lines. It has happened twice in the first month of ownership. Sound can be improved a bit, too

The refresh rate and picture quality are stunning. I specifically got this for playing on the PS5. The games look amazing on this. I recently just bought the LG C2 Oled and sold this. I have to say OLED is the way to go in my opinion and I will never go back to LED. But for those that prefer LED this is a must-have! I do prefer the interface on this over the LG interface, Sony knocked that out of the box!
