LCD Burned out in 2 years

This is my first "budget" Sony vs the high end Sony TVs. A bit surprised how it did not last beyond two years. If you don't have a extended warranty thru your credit card I would highly suggest you get an extended warranty. LCD TVs are supposed to last at least 5 years.
