Nice TV but it has issues when you do not select Google setup. I have setup the TV to boot up to Basic not Google Tv and still while watching a show it will jump out of the program and want me to setup Google TV. Once I change the input to my Roku it works for while again,

Glitchy piece of junk

I hate this thing. Shame on me for not returning it before it was too late but this TV has been so frustrating. It’s clearly just bad software as it is so glitchy. Apps crash, fail to load, and sometimes I’ll be watching a movie on one app and another will just randomly start up, interrupting the movie and preventing me from going back because now it’s stuck on some preloaded app that I have no interest in.
I’m using may 15% of this TV’s functionality and it still can’t work properly.

It looks nice but it’s way too expensive for what it is. It’s very slow, it crashes a lot. Switches from whatever app, starts lagging and then goes to the homepage. I regret buying this TV.

Was wanting a Google TV and choose Sony for the brand reputation. First purchase was shipped and arrived with a significantly damaged box. Went ahead and set it up and struggled to get the WiFi connection to stay establish. Exchanged for another item thinking the TV was compromised due to damaged box. Set up and working for 2 days until WiFi network would not connect. WiFi in house is very strong. Have now connected the TV to Ethernet connection. Even when the WiFi was working it was a bit laggy.

It took 3 appointments (and installations!) before we finally got a TV that wasn't defective. Geek Squad was very patient and understanding...but I had always been told that Sony made a quality product...I am not able to agree with that. I had to take 3 days off work for 3 different install appointments....that cost me twice as much as the TV!

Color and Brightness issues

This TV is chaotic to set the color. there are so many options that you don't know how to adjust it properly. When one channel looks good the others are off and too bight or too red, etc. you have to start adjusting colors, contrast, vividness, brightness, etc. all over again. After two weeks of this adjusting, it just wasn't worth keeping.

We ordered a TV for our cabin. It arrived without a cord. The next time we were in Denver we had to go to Best Buy and get a quart because they would not send us a cord went back up to the mountains to plug it in to find that it has physical damage, it’s now outside of the 14 day window and Best Buy pretty much said forget it. We’re not doing anything to help you call Sony which I did and they don’t cover physical damage now we’re out the money for this TV. I will never order from Best Buy again if they don’t help fix this situation now .
