This T.V. has very poor sound quality.
If a show or program is on the sound is very low even on 25 or 26.
Then when a commercial comes on it gets very loud..you are constantly turning up and fown.

I bought this TV, and, after the return window closed, it started turning off without my prompts, it became very difficult to switch from my Apple TV to BluRay and often turns off when I attempt that. I have to turn the volume up to 70 or higher to hear dialog on DVDs and BluRays. Even then the music blasts and the voices are still very low. No adjustments help.

Your TV may turn on or off for a variety of reasons. To make sure your TV runs as smooth as possible, we highly recommend downloading and installing the latest software for the TV. You can only configure the Dialog enhancer to emphasize voice.
If your TV turns on or off at regular intervals, such as 30 minutes to an hour, it's likely caused by power saving functions such as Idle TV Standby, On Timer, and Sleep Timer. Follow the steps from this link to disable Sleep timer, Idle TV standby, and Auto shut-off settings that may cause the TV to turn off automatically.

Picture was not that good---actually very poor.
I have a 65 Sony X90L and love it---When this one went on sale I bought it for the office---It has same processor as the 90L so I was hoping for a similar picture---I knew it would be less not did not expect as much of a drop---Went from an 8 to a 2.
Returned it for a LG that was on sale too and very happy with it.

You can actually adjust the picture quality of our KD50X77L through its settings to your liking. By pressing the wrench icon (Quick Settings) on the remote control, then select Settings - Display & Sound, it will let you adjust the picture settings of the TV.

This is the worst Smart TV I have purchased. And it’s so unfortunate it’s issues started just when the return policy would end. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy this TV

I’ve had this TV for a few months and I hate it. Its the only device that wont stay connected to the internet. Some days it wont connect at all so we’re unable to watch it most times. Horrible purchase!

There are few reasons why your Sony TV spontaneously switches from soundbar to TV speakers and from Apple TV to regular TV. Here are some troubleshooting steps to try.
Check the HDMI CEC settings: The HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is a HDMI standard that provides control functions between different A/V devices such as TVs, home theater systems, Blu-ray Disc™ players, Cameras, Camcorders, and other HDMI devices. Sometimes, conflict on CEC settings can cause unexpected behaviors. Try disabling the CEC function on your connected devices.
Check your HDMI cable connection. Make sure that both ends of the HDMI cable are securely plugged in to the TV and connected devices to prevent signal dropouts.
Perform power reset. The power reset or restart of the TV is a recommended step for troubleshooting and may resolve many temporary issues.

Replaced a 18 yr old SXRD Sony projection with this. Good picture and better sound that most flat panel TV's until you get into the higher price ranged ones with Atmos speakers and Dolby Vision. For price, you can't beat it. Another good point is legs are spaced closer together so it will fit on most corner stands. Only two negative items I can think of is the home screen can be slow to respond (same as on my top end 65" Sony) and legs do not lock into the unit if using on stand.

Happy with the tv. Small dark spot on the screen at the edge of the screen and frame. Very hard to see it unless the whole screen is very bright. Overall for open box deal I am satisfied. TV has a great picture. Very bright and vibrant colors. I don’t use the tv speakers but they sounded nice when I tested them.

Great smart TV for the cost. The colors are excellent. The feet are 28" apart and can fit on a stand that previously held a 43". If you have a Gmail account Google TV is super easy to setup; I had Netflix, Disney+ & YouTube TV set within minutes of installation. Definitely worth it
