In fact, you can definitely get away without buying a separate sound bar. I was going to go with a less well-known brand, but decided this would hold up better over time. Happy I made this choice; I'd buy this again in a minute.

The only problem I’ve had is that moving around between apps or whatever in the interface would be really slow at times. However, the tv came with so many apps already downloaded on the home page so I deleted a bunch that I don’t use and this fixed the issue.
