Issues with Bose Soundbar (ARC)

The picture is good and Google tv integration is great. Smooth navigation switching from different apps. The remote is great too. Nothing fancy, but the layout is great. The big issue is the HDMI ARC isn't producing any sound on my Bose soundbar. When I turn on the tv. A message pops up saying "switching audio to external speakers", but no sound comes out. My old Sony (non-smart) tv I replaced it with had no issues, and yes. I've tried 3 different HDMI cables. So far, the only thing that's worked is unplugging and re-plugging the cable. Unfortunately, I'm going back to the store and returning the tv.

Very easy to set up and connect. Amazing I can get so much in a boxed TV and be able to carry it under 1 arm. Times have changed for the better.

FireTVs, amazingly, do not offer this simple feature, so I needed a GoogleTV. While I could've gone and bought a Hisense, I can't in good conscience buy Chinese TVs. This Sony was built in Mexico and the color science is just right. I bought 2 for the 2 bedrooms and I'm happy as a clam.

The picture quality is great, but again when clicking on apps sometimes it takes awhile to load.

1. Turn off the TV.
2. Unplug the television power cord (mains lead) from the electrical outlet.
3. Let the television remain without power for 2 minutes.
4. Plug the power cord (mains lead) back into the electrical outlet.

You Get What You Pay For

Replaced a similar sized Samsung and the Sony picture is much clearer and more vibrant. The Sound is also much clearer. Got rid of the sound bar we used with the Samsung.
