Don't Buy Sony Says Dead Pixels Normal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally bought another brand and after the despicable quality of that TV (hummed and buzzed from back panel) I decided to go with what I thought would be a safe bet with Sony. Wow I was wrong. The tv has 3 dead pixels at the top and 2 more at the bottom. The 3 at the top are in a line while the bottom 2 are black dots. I paid $700 for this TV I expect it to not have these flaws. Sony considers it normal. It what sense is this normal? It's a clear detective and an excuse for Sony to produce low quality products at inflated prices to maximize their profit. Look into their website it states dead pixels are normal yet I've bought plenty of tvs and never once in my life got one with a dead pixel let alone 5 and be told it's normal. I returned it and will not be buying a TV again as it seems all models have gone way down in quality. I don't think quality even exists anymore its absolutely disgraceful what is sold out there and for the prices. As a consumer I refuse to accept these products and will do my best to let others know who want to save their hard earned money on something worth buying.

Google TV does a great job of being able to call up applications. One minor issue still trying to figure out is why it will not sign in to Google Nest. Nest integration for all the devices purchased so far has been a pain.

Good Colors on TV but google tv OS is too messy.

However, enabling the full feature "google tv" from basic tv was a bad experience; too many ads (sponsored movies) covering 1/3 of screen. Sticking to basic tv limits you to prime, netflix, disney plus, and youtube

Did a lot of research and decided on this Bravia. Was unsure about Google TV, but love it. Once the video settings were tweaked a bit, picture is great. Nice picture from a slight angle, which some TVs don't have. Sound is good enough that we didn't need our sound bar.
