It was packed well and in perfect condition including the screen pixels all working properly. Sound is ok through the Tv speakers it’s all I need in my bedroom. May would use a sound bar for a bigger than master bedroom. Image, color etc. all look great. Turns on super fast. Only one negative and that is the loud annoying beep it makes when you go from one menus item to the next with the remote. But it can be turned off in settings. You’d think you could lower the beeps default volume but whatever. No big deal, off is fine.

Hard to believe this is an entry-level TV

I honestly hadn't done any research, but I determined that I was going to buy a better brand. In my mind, it was between this and a Samsung. I'm glad I picked this Sony because of the brand reputation. It turns out that I made the right choice. The picture is awesome, and the Google TV options are limitless. The TV has Airplay, so I can also stream from my iPhone. The only cons I see: the Motionflow settings are hard to make perfect. This is the setting that slows down fast-moving scenes. Also, Google TV is sometimes glitchy and requires the TV to be rebooted. The TV sometimes doesn't see an internet connection when connected to ethernet, and has to be rebooted for this reason.

This TV is no different. It has the beautiful screen Sony is known for, and would easily qualify to be your living rooms daily driver. Easy to setup. Highly recommended.

The picture is clean, sharp and bright enough that the tv is not washed out by the bright sunlight in my living room. The sound is so good that I did not bother to hook up my old bose surround system. I am a tech idiot, and I have no problem running the TV and doing streaming for the first time.

It's clear, the people on the screen their faces are clear and true color. The TV was easy to setup and it is just the right size for the family room. I was glad the Best Buy associate was able to locate me a 50" TV because I had shop at Walmart and Target and none of these two stores had none and the associates didn't even try to locate one from their store.

It probably not for you if your willing to pay the top price for one of the newer better models. But, it was a really nice upgrade from a reg. HD tv. Picture and sound quality are appropriate for the money you pay to buy this model. I had an LG before and have an Xbox which is compatible with this model regardless of the branding. I like how i paor my Sony headphones to browse through youtube music and music choice. Unboxing it and transporting it were the scariest times, but nothing to fear. Follow the directions and it should be a breeze. Enjoy this tv.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Two major issues : The display developed clouds of darker luminance within 24 hours, the remote learned our set top box (Spectrum) but that stopped working. Some functions stopped working such as the apps menu then the entire stb control menu stopped. Also had setup delays for Google Home and difficulty with google photos app. Also the remote button layout is impossible to use, I kept studying it for hours. Also picture factory setup has very strong color luminance. The picture quality was a disappointment.
