It does well with football/sporting events-no blurring. I use an Apple device, so I cannot speak to the smart feature. I use a soundbar, so I only know it sounded ok before I plugged in the soundbar.

This Sony was so easy to set up and simple to pair with comcast remote. The picture quality and clarity are great. There is a much better viewing.

Outliving as well as outperforming other manufacturers. The picture is absolutely Great! Lots of ability to find a sharp and vivid picture, and for a TV, and as a sound engineer, very good sound quality. (of course, I use a Sony sound bar that is better than the TV sound) The best performing flat screen television I have ever purchased.

Picture quality for this entry level Smart TV is sharp and colorful. Factory picture settings are visually pleasing and accurate. This TV doesn't have many of the flashy features that high end TVs have, but this is understandable for a base model. My main disappointment with this TV is the sound quality. The sound is loud enough, but the sound quality is terrible. Even using the built in acoustic auto calibration, the best sound it will produce is unacceptable. At this price point and from a company with good sound technology, I should not have to buy a sound bar just to achieve fair sound quality. Kudos to the team at Best Buy for helping me every step of the way with this purchase. Best Buy certainly puts the best into my buying experience.

The image quality is crisp without looking fake, menu navigation and actual set up is a breeze. Highly, highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for your first smart TV. I do recommend getting a sound bar, but to be perfectly honest, you don’t really need one.

Worth it, but be cautious

There are times it will not turn on immediately but rather has a black screen, it does turn on but sometimes takes more than 1 attempt. I'll be keeping an eye on this if it becomes a bigger issue. Moving past that, the image quality is sharp and the processor for the smart TV function is quick. Much faster than the Samsung we had previously. The Google TV features have integrated pretty seamlessly with the Google Homes we have set up. For now I'm giving a 4 out of 5 because of the start up issue, but overall we've been happy witg the purchase.

However, we are sorry if you are experiencing issues when turning on the TV. We'd like to help isolate the problem. Please make sure that the TV software is updated as it includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.
If your TV doesn't turn on or takes a while to turn on after plugging in the power cord, the TV needs a couple of minutes to initialize. The power buttons on the TV and the remote won't work during this short period, and the LED or illumination LED won't light up right away. This is a normal operation. To avoid this, don't unplug the TV from the wall outlet. Use the power button on the TV and on the remote to turn off the TV.
