It replaced a large tube TV, which we used until the bulb burned out. The picture quality is amazing, in fact it's hard to go to another TV. My husband and I reserve times. The sound quality is also excellent, although we purchased a sound bar to go with as my husband has hearing issues. Purchasing this from Best Buy was a plus. We had their Geek Squad do the set-up, it was seamless, and they are knowledgeable and true professionals.

Much, much crisper image and better definition. One of the things that help, is the fact that refreshing rate is 120 hz as opposed to 60 hz of cheaper models. This one is a little pricier, but it is worth the extra money. Also, I was lucky to find an open box one in a good condition. I just had it for a few days and experienced no problems whatsoever (touch wood).

It is not too heavy, I like that. The color so far is fantastic. It is much better than the 10 year old Samsung it is replacing. I got the apps installed, but have not activated them yet. Installing the apps was very easy. Sound is excellent. I do not do gaming, so no report on that. Over all a great TV at a great price.

I had a 43" Sony for about 3 1/2 yrs. Had to replace it, due to the picture started to get blurry. Of course, after the warranty ran out 6 months prior, so I upgraded for the 50". Extremely happy. This is my second Sony tv. Good thing, it was Black Friday month. Recommend t anyone to purchase it.
