    Very great tv. If your using Xbox one x it only supports 1080p at 120hz. It doesn’t support 4k at 120hz, but it can do 4k at 60hz. No idea why someone would want a super high resolution for gaming since less lag is better. For this tv make sure to set up enhanced vrr on either hdmi port 3 or 4 when gaming. For movies use enhanced Dolby vision setting.

This TV will be able to support signals up to 4K 120p via the compatible HDMI 2.1 ports included on the TV and setting the HDMI signal format for the HDMI 3 or HDMI 4 port to Enhanced format. Some HDMI devices that output the 4K Enhanced format (18Gbps or above) signal require that you use a 48Gbps Ultra High Speed HDMI cable. VRR will also be coming via a future firmware update, please keep auto updates enabled for future updates when this is available in the future.     Tv on a Antenna picks up all the channels I had and more with this tv with top of the line picture! I’m amazed at how clear the hd picture is, all the characters images come right at you without your need for glasses lol I am very happy to have the salesperson recommend this tv once I told him what I was using for reception, he instantly went for the Sony knowing it was what I needed, and I thank him everyday

    I'm so glad that I decided to get the X85J. I've never had such an incredible TV viewing experience at home. The picture is very vivid and the colors are so vibrant. Not only does 4k content look amazing and life-like, but 1080p content looks extremely amazing on this television too (way better than my last 1080p TV). I'm also glad I decided to get the 120hz model: The motion from action movies is very smooth and there's no judder at all.

    Perfect buy!!! Given Sony's high reputation for top of the line products, I am not disappointed. After thorough researching similar televisions in this price bracket, Sony has delivered. I enjoy the contrast and picture quality better than the x90j and the x80j. This is a solid television. Definitely worth the price. Sound quality is solid for a stereo tv setup. But, I have it installed to a 5.2 Denon home theatre.

    Picture is clear and refresh is good. 4 stars for that. -1 star for the fact that it is not a tv I would wish to have without 2 things. First, a firestick to make it less convoluted and easy to use. I clicked the Discovery plus button but it never showed up on the home screen and so on. Firestick solved that. Secondly, you need a geek squad member to set it up. Not a straight forward setup. Lastly, it is to be expected of all tvs these days that the sound quality just downrite sucks! You need a soundbar to understand anything.

      If you selected Set up Google TV at the initial setup, movies and TV recommendations in "For you" tab come from your list of streaming services. By selecting Manage Services from the Home menu, you can change or disable your list of services if you do not want to display recommendations based on your viewing history and subscriptions.

      If a streaming app doesn't launch, freezes, or an error message appears, the link below provides troubleshooting steps with issues signing in or accessing video streaming services such as Discovery plus and other streaming apps.
