Always better to get these cards and put in your PSN wallet than guess wrong on buying a game for someone. They need to bring back the $5 denominations but this is still good for big purchases.

A good way to get psn credit without giving Sony your credit card number! Because in this day and age you can't be too safe. Plus you might be able to catch these cards on sale once in a while.

Picking up digital currency is a step securer than using CC unless you're using Paypal which is fine, but I am not sure if Paypal is able to be used with PSN. I always pick up a couple of these when there is a sale

I don't really know what to say. You can buy games, dlc, subscriptions, and add ons with it. I know for a fact it work for ps4 (I wasn't sure because it looked like an old card)

The playstation store has a few select psn exclusive games where there are no hard copies. That's where this comes in! We don't even have to put our CC info on playstation network!
