    This lens is good, but expensive. That is the price to pay for a pretty good quality lens that will put out great pictures.

    Although it's step twice back, but this is the best indoor portrait lens. I'm using /4, not /1.8, but the pics are great

    I bought this lens in after the birth of my granddaughter. I wanted professional looking portraits and this lens delivered. Mounted on a tripod with remote release, there is zero motion. I even take many pictures without a tripod and the pictures are clear and crisp. So many people say that there iPhones take pictures that are just as good, but they haven't used this lens.

    This lens paired with my Sony A6000 has allowed me to get some incredibly sharp images with very little photography experience. I would not recommend it for handheld video though. Even with image stabilization the footage is very shaky.
