This is great for a kit lense. I have to admit, I was not expecting as much as I received with this lense. I love it, great quality

This is a must have accessory for any camera enthusiasts. If you like to take pics and want that wide scenic view, this lens s perfect for that. Taking high-quality pics of oceans, country-sides, partys and get-togethers is remarkably easy with this lens.

I've used the lens a few times and I like it. It's nothing special but it does a decent job for far away objects. I use it for basic further away objects and its done well. I've read about better lenses for the more serious photographer. I bought a packaged deal and this lens was included at $150 less than buying the lens by itself.

I rarely used it because I forgot to bring it because it is big and heavy. And, when I used this lens, the photos is not as good as the 16-50 mm lens. I am not sure whether it is my fault or lens' fault. I do not know whether I would recommend this to a friend, but I have to choose one. I wish there is choice called n/a.

I bought this lense after taking a previous trip where I was unable to capture many sights and animals due to distance. This lens was everything I needed. I was able to get monkeys and sloths high up in trees and the picture were worthy of nat geo.

Good easy lens to use the quality is good could be great. The price is reasonable and shipping was fast to my house. I’ll be using it for sports so hopefully it performs well.

I recently switched back from a point and shoot and couldn't be any happier with this lens. The fact that I now have a great camera and a clear telephoto lens is a win win! This lens has a tremendous range and will wind up being my primary lens on the camera.

The 6000 is not the latest model, and may not have all the bells and whistles of the 7000, but at 24 megapixels, this is quite an excellent camera. Got my selected package with lens price-matched from Amazon, and was able to walk out the door of the store with my new camera that day. A perfect buying experience.

Great introductory lens for the money! It's light enough to not be out of place on a camera as small and equally lightweight as an A6000, but not enough to feel precarious. Takes spectacular photos at maximum zoom!

Love the lens, its on and off with a snap. Give great focus and is easy to use. Clear and accurate with the subject in the frame. Good product

This lens is perfect for capturing distant shots and creating the depth of field type of photography (blurred background! It is not heavy at all easy to change lense for your camera also!!! Highly recommended for the Sony a5100

I purchased this lens in hopes of photographing wild life. I learned through trial and error that it wasn't what I was looking for. It does a good job of bring things a little closer but for wildlife, I would need something larger. Nice quality, easy to use.

A good quality telephoto lense for my Sony A6000 camera that I use occasionally. If you are a professional, you probably want a better lense, but for the rest of us, this will get you a quality picture.

This lens is light and compact but powerful and operates very smoothly. The quality of pictures taken with the Sony Alpha 5000 is equal to those taken with the basic 16-55 lens sold with the camera.

No, this is not a $10,000 Ultra telephoto fast lens. But for what it cost this lens is a great value. It's a standard Zoom for good all-round shooting. It's sharp and clear, no perceptible chromatic aberration. I gave it 4 stars because it has to absolutely amaze me to get 5 stars.

Easy to attach to camera body. Smooth in and out focus. Will focus sharp across the gym. I have used for sports outdoor, dance recitals in low light theater, and outdoor portraits. Focus is great everytime.
