this tv is amazing. admittedly, my prior tv was over 10 years old and tiny, so this is a huge upgrade, but it's still a great tv. the picture quality is crisp, the colors are vibrant and true, it works well for movies as well as gaming, two activities which i spend a lot of time focused on. highly recommend. also - connects well with all bluetooth and wifi devices without any hitches, lots of apps so you don't need an external connection device unless you need it for a specialty purpose.

This tv is very awesome to use. in the beginning it needed software update to get it running good. I have my computer hooked up and a google fire cube connected to it plus a digital antennae. Picture quality is great. The tv is going 6 years strong love my Sony products.

55 inch, 4k and HDR. Its the whole package. Got mine as an open box at a steep discount. Worth every cent

For the most part the picture is clear and clean. I have not seen any blurring and the refresh on it is pretty smooth. It is a step up from the last TV we had in our living room which was a plasma Panasonic. the 4k is nice and it works well with the Xbox one. Movies look good and the sound works well overall. Biggest issue is sluggish response from remote and slow in response to changing inputs. Set-up was fairly easy when first starting it up. Took a few minutes for the download but after that it worked well. I was thinking it could use a few more inputs as my old tv had more but I do not know what i would use them for. Since some of the functionality is built in being a smart TV, their uses would be redundant. I have the TV hooked up to the internet so I can do searches with that and I have the Xbox hooked up so I can work on the internet with that as well. (also play 4k blue rays) On a side note, 4k resolution movies for streaming are huge files. If you watch alot of movies over the internet or download a bunch of games the file sizes will eat your data up. I downloaded a game for the xbox and it was over 65 gigabytes. If you do alot of movie streaming be aware that you might use much more data and your streaming feed load times will suffer if you choose to watch them in 4k. Overall I think it is a great TV .

Great picture, easy to use, numerous features, reasonable price.

Bought this to replace old 55" free-standing rear projection TV that was breaking down and TV repair service recommended I just buy a new TV. Just WOW! Internet connection, wifi, screen mirroring, plenty of different connection options so I could use my old stuff (Wii, DVD and cable box) with no problems. That was one of the main reasons I bought THIS tv, others were sadly lacking and I wasn't ready to upgrade DVD to Blueray just because HDMI was the ONLY way to connect. Beautiful picture, easy setup, was able to lift it onto the stand by myself, only had to install included back brackets with 4 bolts and hang it up. I'm so happy!

love the picture, everything looks like it is live. great apps. speeakers are not good, you will need a sound bar or surround sound receiver. very easy to set up. I did it by myself and only took 15 minutes. the only thing streaming 4k is you tube and the picture is unbelievable.

I have had this tv now for about 3 months. The picture is beautiful and the processor keeps up with all the movies we have watched. I put in transformers and no motion blur. 4K looks super, like the colors are in the room. Tv is easy to use. Lot of functions. Very happy

I really love how easy it was to set it up out of the box, easy to hang on my wall and I really love the android OS. Picture is amazing when watching 4k content as well as watching blu ray movies. Excellent upscale of regular signals. Very happy with my purchase

TV has a high quality picture with a sharp image and brilliant colors. Also the refresh rate is fast which removes the annoying blur that some TVs produce for fast action events, like live sports. The TV has some built-in apps, but connection to Alexa or other remote features are either not easy or not possible. The Sony Customer Service phone support is terrific and very helpful.

Picture wise it is very good but coming to remote its pathetic you need to point your remote straight to sensor in order to operate. Coming to Android OS its little bit slow compared form the day I bought it. I am experiencing lag when I am operating TV like changing sources, switching and off, navigating in the menu. In short - Good Picture Quality, not a good remote and slow android OS.

We love this TV. The quality of the picture is great. It's very easy to use.

Very life-like picture. Upscaling via the Sony BBPs6500 works great. And it's far easier to use the Blu Ray to access apps such at Netflix or MLB. MLB Google is a dud when comparing scores etc. which are displayed on the Blu Ray. If you have ever owned a new computer stuffed with bloatware, Google is more of the same. Try to delete "Featured Apps." They are not under that name. They are "Sony Shelf" buried with tons of other meaningless to the end user applet garbage. The remote is just odd. The circle of buttons gets lost in the surrounding buttons and the user will push the wrong one the mdajority of the time. The USB is hidden on the back of the TV and if wall mounted, you really won't be able to use it for a photo flash drive, but the TV does to casting, which is the new norm. The power brick in near the end of the cord, which is easier to keep it out of sight. But the bottom line is the quality of the picture. A solid "A" there. Plus the set is pretty much future ready with HDR (if that becomes the standard). Many of the feature on this line of "Smart" TVs can easily be had via a Roku or Smart Blu Ray, thus the TV Google features just get in the way.

Beautiful picture and clarity, vibrant color and wide picture frame screen

I love my new tv. I had a little problem with it but Best Buy came and switched it and have not had any problem with it since. The picture is perfect and the 55" screen is awesome. Being an Android tv is taking a little bit of time to figure it out but I'm sure I will eventually get the hang of it. Really pleased

Great picture. Getting it going was not simple but worth the time and effort to get its many settings programed. Nothing left out Currently produced HD programs are nothing short of fantastique. Stereo sound and headphones is also great. Local stations with outside antenna are actually better than satellite network. Only thing better would be a larger screen if needed.

This 4K Ultra HD TV has the picture quality, price and performance that is consistent with other Sony products we have had success with in the past. Easy to set up and use, great customer support and priced well below Samsung for the same same quality

Sharp images, bright colors, I love it. Definitely an amazing tv.

THIS model out performs any and all previous models, i had bought that sony 55 inch XBR65X900C , well since i saw how bad the light bleed was i returned it just as they got the new XBR-55X850D , im glad i sucked up my gut and boxed the 900c up , getting the new model was worth the hassle , paid more but worth it,, no more light bleed, solid 4k hdr tv, oh and it makes a excellent 4k pc monitor also linked up with my windows 10 pc and amd fury video card i get gameplay on pc at 60 hz no lag as long as you select game mode /plays great in 4k.. solid picture excelllent color.. and response good apps ,I can't ask for more! i give it 5 stars cause i can't find anything wrong with it! not that i'm looking , it just works great! money well spent!

4K on this tv is superb. I will never go back to anything else. I have watched a few 4K shows now and i have to say the picture quality is unbeatable. Easy to set up. Built in speakers are... ok, I recommend getting a Sony sound bar.
