Love the picture quality. Thin design and easy to operate would recommend to friends

I was originally looking at a similar tv from another brand. After having this tv for a month, I can honestly say I have no complaints, the picture is great, casting works flawlessly. Pair a Ps4 contoller and enjoy android games or Playstation now. The only thing that I have any complaints on is the remote is very directional, meaning if your not pointing directly at the tv it will not respond.

Since this TV is not super expensive, around $1200 when I got mine, it does its job just as the product is described. Blu-rays play great, live football is up-scaled really well, and so is regular 1080p cable. There are some bad reviews out there, but the TV is definitely worth it. Perfect for a first 4K TV purchase.

Let me just say coming from a 240 hz lg led tv The Sony blows it out of the water. The 4k vids on youtube are breathtaking. Got my new skylake build hooked up and games look unreal. I was going to buy last year's model for a grand and I'm really glad I went with the new one. Picture color is way better. The bestbuy guys at the glenburnie store were alot of help.Thanks for leading me to this model!

Have had the tv a month and it does the job very well. I'm sure there are some techies who would discuss things like edge-bleed and pixel recovery rates but I am not a techie and so far I think it's a great tv. I have had no problems with those. Good picture and sound, thin and sleek, the stand isn't ugly and the Geek Squad got it all delivered, set up, and running perfectly in no time.

This Sony Smart TV is amazing. The colors are so vivid and the picture is very sharp. Sony makes the best tvs hands down. This TV makes watching TV fun again. I cannot believe how much technology has improved. Watching 4K programming is unbelievable able. If you haven't seen the picture on the Sony Bravia series you need to get to Best Buy to see it for yourself.

This was a upgrade from a 40 inch Sony 1080p unit and the picture quality is noticeably better. The up-scaling makes both the TV channels and the Blu-ray discs look better. The Netflix app and the number of 4K options available there was a pleasant surprise. The only negative is the remote control with a button layout that makes simple navigation an adventure likely to end badly.

The size, picture quality and sound are perfect for the area l chose it for.

Was a little concerned I spent too much compared to other TV''s but I am not disappointed at all. Great TV, great picture, greathe features.

Couldn't wait for it to be delivered and as expected, it far exceeded my expectations. There are many things to do with this television that I don't think I will ever use all the apps but I am going to try. Can't wait for my cable provider to come out with their 4K cable box so i can enjoy true 4K.

We started using this TV about a year ago: Feb 2017. Setting it up was straightforward. Initially we had an old Dish Network box with no HD and only RCA video connectors. Later we got an HD box with HDMI. HD programming is nice on this TV. We like the thin profile, the picture quality and ease of use. Size if perfect for us. We would buy this TV again.

This product exceeded expectations. The color is great, the light levels are excellent and the sound is very good for small - medium areas, on its own. The response time, even gaming, is very good for such a large tv and high resolution. The smart functionality is great and the compatibility with the Sony PS4 is awesome! ( the remote can be used on your PS4 as well). 5/5

Phenomenal picture quality. Great features. LOVE It! Was leaning towards a similar Samsung model but this one has upscaling to make low resolution shows appear higher definition, motionflow tech for better tv picture movement when you need it and a better designed base, for us anyway. It has one center base as opposed to four legs. Has onboard streaming services and other programs available on the device:Google TV, Hulu, Netflix, PlayStation Now, YouTube.

I was replacing my Samsung 46"; I've always been a Sony fan since the Trinitron days so I was glad when I had a choice for great picture and slim line design of the LED. So far I have no complaints and the screen menus are well designed and it works well with the Samsung 4K player. Easily took the place of the 46" on existing gimbal arm wall mount I already had

The Sony XBR-55X850D was a great choice in many respects. Set up was easy and intuitive. Connection to the home network went through on the first try. The picture is outstanding. I have bought Sony televisions for 20 years and never been disappointed. Bottom line everything worked straight out of the box like it is supposed to. Highly recommend this product.

Hook up was easy, set up was easy. You choose the preference of the picture from movies, sports. So many options to choose from. After watching a few shows the tv will give you some selections to choose from. A little more expensive but worth it in a newer tv. We had an old smart tv but this is so up to date with so many features to choose from. We even set up the remote control to work with the cable box. So no more fumbling with dual remotes.

Great image quality and color is great. Easy setup and easy to use!

I am very happy with this purchase. TV looks great and is super thin and light. Plenty of ports and the range of apps available is good. One issue I ran into was that the remote stopped responding a week after I bought it. Sony walked me through resetting the remote (removing batteries and pushing every button two times) and everything has worked fine since.

I spent a lot of time researching tv's. It took me a good 3 weeks to finally decide on 55" 850D. The upscaling and HDR is what sold me on this tv. It's stunning. Preset picture modes are great (Cinema Home). As a PS4 gamer, graphics and refresh rate are amazing. I love this TV. It was such a deal that adding on the Geek Squad protection was a no brainer.
