First of all, it is a Sony. If you ever had one then you know what to expect at a minimum. The additional Smart features add to the overall value. Really like the picture, wish the refresh rate was a bit faster. Only has 2 HDMI ports, other than that I could not be happier.

I read over 100 reviews on various brand name TV's before selecting this Sony. It has been all I hoped for and much more. Quality crisp clear picture with no blur during action scenes or sports. The 55" screen size is big enough to fill most any room and after adding the extended 5 yr warranty plus tax the price came in UNDER $440.00. A 55" Sony w/120hz, smart technology w/ 5yr replacement or repair at this price? OUTSTANDING!!!!! A NOBRAINER!!!!!

Colors are vibrant and picture is clear. Easy to assemble stand and set up tv. So far no problems except I bought two and one was smashed in the box and had to be returned.

So excited to bring this TV home. I was originally going to purchase a different TV but sales rep sold me on this one for about the same price. He's right it does have a great picture. Trouble is we can not connect to xfinity with out a box. So much for a smart TV.

We are very happy with this tv. Great picture from wide angles, great value for a Sony product. Would give 5 stars except the remote control is awkward.

Clear picture, easy to set up. One negative- cannot use tv speakers and aux sound system at the same time.

this was a gift to my wifes parents there 32 was too small to read the writing. lol this tv has a great pitcure even straight out of the box. bought another and gave as gift to one of my employees

Got the last one in the store! It was a last minute buy as our set just died. Didn't take long to shop on line then head to the store. Best Buy employee was helpful with what we needed (Hdmi cable) and get us on our way. We love the tv, excellent picture and it has Netflix!

I bought this for the thanks giving, it is almost a year now, working super fine. Since it is android TV, I can have lots of apps from android installed list nest camera. Good TV for this price.

Bought this during the Black Friday weekend sale for $350. It was absolutely worth it. I had planned to purchase a lesser quality TV that was on sale as well, but saw the Sony 55" and had to have it. While I mainly use it for video games, my son uses it for YouTube since it has all the "Smart TV" features you could want. I have found Sony to be a reliable product no matter what item I have purchased and this is another great item, especially for the price.

Do I get this Sony 55" 1080p vs another well-reviewed S...g 55" 4K television was a tough decision. After viewing for an extended period of time with broadcast and streamed content we consistently preferred the Sony picture. Only when viewing 4K streamed content was the 4K slightly better. The smart Apps interface is better on the S...g but we don't use the apps that much. And since there is not much 4K content we watch we chose the Sony 1080p 55" 650D.

You get what you are paying for. This isn't an over the top, top,of the line TV with all of the newest advances in technology. However, it presents a clear HD picture with good color and clear image.

The clarity and crisp picture is awesome. Easy set up, very happy with the purchase. Picked this over a 4K because our cable guy said the fiber optics are not up to 4K yet so all features wouldn't work. So we saved a little got a great deal. Best Buy was very knowledgeable. Great experience.

There isn't much to say about a 55" Sony Bravia TV. The picture is of course great and the sound is a pleasant surprise. I have the 40" version of this TV and the sound was rather small. I would still recommend a Soundbar or Home Theater setup for watching sports or action movies. The Smart function of this TV is okay, I prefer to use my XBOX ONE, the interface on Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and Vudu are all a little more fluid and snappy. I will now comment on why I choose a non 4k TV in December of 2016. First is the cost of the TV itself, The 4k Sony I was considering instead of this was $799 and that's the Black Friday sale price. But that isn't the only cost you must consider. To stream 4k content you need a download speed from 18 to 25 depending on which service you are using. I currently pay $62 for a download speed of 15mbs, in order to stream 4k I would need to step up to the next internet plan which will run me $84. That is a $22 difference every month to go from an already impressive 1080p HD to 4k HDR. There is also the difference in physical entertainment. I routinely pick up recent Blu-Ray movies for $8 to $15. 4k movies are normally $30 and can occasionally be found on sale for $25. That's an extra $10 per movie for the 4k difference not including a 4k player that starts at $300. I have no doubt that 4k HDR is the future, I just think it is still at least 1 to 2 years away from being fully integrated the way Blu-Ray is now. I am planning on breaking the bank for a top end 4k HDR Sony in holiday of 2018 just not now.

We had waited a while to upgrade our TV. Wow what a difference. The size is perfect for our 10' room. The screen is so bright that we don't need to close the drapes any more. The clarity is such an improvment for movies and sports. Hooking the set up for steaming was very easy. The only thing that keeps me from rating this a 5 is the sound guilty is not the best with big movie action. For regular TV programming its not a problem.We pipe the audio through our surround sound anyway.

Easy to set up, smart feature works great with little to no lag. Picture is great and clear.

I love this tv. I think it is, by far, the best television I have purchased. The colors are vivid and the sound is phenomenal. I love all the smart features that are included with this model. It is so awesome to be able to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime straight from the TV without needing another device. I also enjoy the USB feature on the tv. We have been able to watch family movies straight from our hard drive.
