Great tv sony 55 inch Excelent picture and audio good

I didn't need 4k quality in a backup tv after my old one broke but this Sony is exceptional and does the job. Only draw back is that it only has 2 HDMI inputs which is good for my roku and dvd player but have to swap out cables for game console that I don't play as much.

Overall a good TV. The inability to play some standard video formats via USB, and the considerable backlight bleed (flashlighting) however, keep me from giving it a 5 Star review. I'm actually surprised SONY is so behind the tech curve in the video playback format! I would recommend with disclosure of failures.

I've only had this TV for a month. So far it's been great. Although When You buy the TV as 55 inch and post it is only 54.6 is confusing. The instructions for the stand are all off. If you have any mechanical Talent you may figure it out. That part of the instructions appear to go to a completely different TV.

Good tv on watching HD videos or Tv. no issues with the audio or the video quality. Having issues with the pre-installed apps like YouTube or Netflix. They are really slow in loading the content. Or sometimes get stuck with a loading screen and needs to be reset by turning off the TV from the power plug.

This is the third Sony TV I have purchased (all from Best Buy) and it is a great TV. At first I thought it might be too big for the space but the associate at Best Buy assured me it would be fine and it was. Thanks again for the great advice and the great value.

We are enjoying the streaming features of our new Sony tv. It was especially nice to make our decision and then find what we were looking for in stock at Best Buy. We were comfortable with our choice after talking to a knowledgeable sales representative.

I had high hopes for this tv especially for the price. That was NOT the case. The tv is extremely slow to respond and the apps that come on this ‘smart tv’ are ridiculous. Aside from Netflix, Hulu, and pandora the remaining apps are not US based and are useless. Big disappointment.

Good picture and sound but every few days the tv will not cut on I have to unplug tv wait for it to reboot then it will cut on went to web site for this troubleshooting fix still no luck. Going to talk to folks at Best Buy for help .

Purchased this TV for a black Friday sale thinking I got a deal. It is a good TV for customers who are living in the stone age and are just getting into High Definition. Good entry level TV . The TV has good image quality but not enough ports, only 2 HDMI!! How am I going to hook up my xbox one, play station 4, sound bard and android box if i don't have enough ports?? Ultimately, I decided to return the TV and purchased the Sony XBRx55x930d. Why? because of the 4k and HDR features. Sure the price is a lot more but for 4K, HDR, and Android it is worth it. If you have a budget and don't want to spend much for the extra features then this TV will do great!

Nice TV but doesn't have the sharpness of my previous Sony. It was less expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. Am still happy with it though.

Bought this smart tv for my MIL for early Christmas. She loves it! Already a Netflix pro. We weren't sure she would enjoy the smart tv features but she was home-bound following surgery and she learned how to navigate and use it very easily.

This TV is packed with Smart features and they work well. Easy setup. 2 HDMI inputs is not enough. Screen resolution is great when on a bright screen. The black in pictures is not a true black. A bit disappointing.
