I upgraded from an LG 4kUH6100 49 inch. I just wanted a bigger tv at first then decided to get something different all together. The LG was a nice tv but this Sony is amazing. It upscales everything! Regular tv looks like near 4K quality. I haven't even tried actual 4K/HDR things on it where it will shine, but can only imagine how it will look. I'm already amazed at the picture quality. Sony makes a great TV.

For the Quality you cannot beat the price. Sony has made great strides over the last few years. For an entry level 4K TV, this one is truly amazing. I bought this one for my bedroom for the convenience of it being a smart TV. The android OS is awesome. The picture is insane. I know this model does not support HDR but unless it is side by side another high end UHD display you will have no issues enjoying this set.

Have had this TV for about a month and so far am very satisfied. The default tv picture settings is way out of whack but once you tune it, the picture is top notch. Have watched movies, tv, and sports and all look great. Action is good with very little blurring. It is bright enough for our very bright living room. Dark scenes are a weakness but not distractingly so. For $800 I am extremely satisfied.

I bought this for my daughter and son-in-law as a housewarming gift. They are so happy with it. Huge football fans and the size is perfect for their new home. Scored a lot of mother-in-law points with this one :) First one delivered was slightly damaged. I went to the store and was told a new one would be delivered ASAP and they sent the Geek Squad to set everything up for them. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I needed a nice TV for a new room addition to our house and wanted one that had some brains ("smart") as well as 4K. So far its been great but we really haven't had the opportunity to explore all its features. we also don't have a 4K source (yet) but so far the picture has been great. This was an "open box" purchase and the item had some additional discounts - so I got it for a very good price.

Definitely spent more than we had planned, but think we have a good TV that will hopefully last longer than the almost 6 yrs that our LG did...maybe that's all the longer they are made to last anymore. Set up was a bit challenging; maybe younger people could get it done faster. Ended up doing a Sony on line chat when trying to hook up an older sound bar; found out it wasn't compatible. Too bad.

The picture and color on this TV are great! A sure upgrade to what you've got now.
