Sony 4K Love It
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from my Sony Google TV since 4 years ago. What a differance since I moved out of a apartment and into a house finally. Love the picture quality and sound. Had for 2 weeks now and no signs of damage whatsoever. Wifi built-in is great and for gaming.

Very luminous and easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had no problems with setup. I don't do cable so I love all the apps. The picture is really nice. Makes normal shows look cool, fun to just look at! I use an external sound system which I would advise others to use as well.

First time Sony buyer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I initially went into Best Buy I wanted something from Samsung. Then I saw this tv on sale as an open box item. Of course like most people I was very skeptical of buying a returned item. But I've had it about a month now and I haven't had any problems. This is my first smart tv so I have so much to learn. Anyone thinking of buying this tv will be satisfied. I have never owned a Sony television and I am pleasantly surprised by the picture quality.

GREAT 4K TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good tv at an affordable price you problem wont find this particular model at sotres due to all the newer models that support 4k hdr i brought this one on clearence for like 410 straight out of the door the only downside was that it didnt come with a stand or base which sucked but if you prefer to have it on a wall mount or a tv stand that has the wall mount you will be in for a very great tv

Great HD TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The set is 55 and looks amazing. It has great depth and color. It has a small frame so it makes it look even larger . It's a Sony so it's a good brand name and high quality resolution. 4K smart TV with USB ports for more entertainment

Love the Screen. Best TV ever bought
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to my local Best Buy with a $400 budget in mind to buy the biggest screen I could afford in that price range. But speaking to the team member I was introduced to 12 month interest free financing which made me choose this TV, the best TV I ever purchased, so far. In love with the screen.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading reviews and comparing similar TV's with same price point, I decided this was the best choice for me. Bought to replace a 2 year-old Vizio M-Series 3D TV that had to repaired TWICE in 2 years, then just the other day I got lines all through the screen. It was out of warranty and Vizio wanted 300+ dollars to repair. No thanks, I'll just buy something new. This also put me off Vizio products forever, by the way. I have a 7 year-old Sony Bravia 46 inch LCD that still looks just as good as the day I bought it, so I know Sony makes good stuff. Got the set home and set it all up, had to wait over an hour for the software update, annoying but not a huge deal. I haven't had a lot of time with it as I had to go to work, but the picture settings I was messing around with look pretty good so far. No lights in the corners, or whatever these other guys are talking about. If the lights are there, I haven't seen them yet. Of course the sound is not great, I have not seen too many new TV's that do have great sound out of the box. Also, when I get home I'm going to change my Netflix subscription so I can get the 4K content. Watched a few minutes of The Hobbit:Battle of the Five Armies on Blu-Ray and I was blown away! Looked absolutely amazing. I'm very satisfied with the TV thus far, and I think the more 4K content that comes out the more satisfied I will be. That being said this TV is not a 3000 or 4000 dollar TV, so these guys doing all that complaining need to realize that, it is not going to be a 10/10 in every category. You're going to get what 1000 dollars gets you, and I think that's a good price for this set.

Great for gaming, movies, pc monitor and all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought the vizio m series 50 inch. It was a good tv, but lacked a lot of features, and also had too much motion blur for gaming. I did a WHOLE lot of research and had plenty of time to make my decision in buying this tv. It's everything I expected. Awesome color, great motion controls. All my xbox one games look incredible on this. Cable looks great. Very easy to use as a pc monitor. Absolutely no issues with light bleeding. This is in my opinion the best tv you can get for the price. If you're looking for a tv that can handle all your needs, get this one.

Very good starter 4k tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS: The response time makes it suitable for a PC monitor Picture quality at lower resolutions is great (min. soft imaging) Capable of 120fps at 1080p, and 4k 4:4:4 HDMI 2.0 No judder when watching dvd/blu-ray Motion blur is great for being a more basic 4k tv The viewing angle is decent Decent calibration out of the box The quality-to-price ratio is outstanding CONS: The screen has a lot of glare if placed opposite a window Occasionally you will get compression artifacts, when using it as a computer monitor. Strangely, it only happens to me at 1080p. Turning the tv off, then on again, fixes that issue. The color array is not as high as top of the line 4k tv's. That won't be an issue until after 4k dvd players, and whatnot get released, though. If placed in a smaller room, it doubles as a space heater, so don't do that unless you intend to open a window when you use it. Not a big fan of the stand. It's a bit wobbly, but, not too bad. So, yeah, it's a great starter 4k tv. You would be really hard pressed to find one better at this price. Getting the 120fps at 1080p is a pain, as you need to set it up yourself, so unless you feel like doing that, don't bother trying. The compression artifacts are also annoying, at times. It rarely happens, and literally takes less than 5 seconds to fix when it does, so it's not a big deal for me. To get the 4k @60hz 4:4:4, you need to set the HDMI port to "4k enhanced" in the settings menu. As for calibration, it was pretty decent right out of the box. This isn't standard across the board for this model, mind you. Each TV is different, so, the one you get may need quite a bit more tweaking than mine. On the other hand, it may need far less. Gotta roll the dice, and hope for the best in this department. Picking up a calibration device, or disc, is recommended.
