I was going to buy a Sony 900E but was on a bit of a budget and sure enough I was able to find this top of line 2016 Sony 930D and the only thing missing was the stand so I bought a Sanus swivel base for $99 and it looks amazing, tv is very thin and the picture is beautiful. Only problem is the controller is slow to respond even with fresh batteries.

Only buy it if you find it at a lower price than the original I don't recommend paying full price for this. Yes its a nice tv but some of them are faulty so be careful and even the ones that are good also requires a high internet speed to show the best picture. Unless your are connecting it to an xbox one s or ps4 pro then it will look nice regardless of your internet speed.

Picture quality is great, bonus for android tv. No complaints so far.

Has a wonderful picture & was easy to set up. Sony has definitely taken over Samsung . I looked at Samsung but it appears they have cheapen their chassis. Also, their is an issue with possible overheating in the back. Sony gives you plenty of ports of various nature. Great purchase. I would highly recommend. This is my 3rd Sony TV after switching from Samsung.

This is the best TV that I have ever owned!!! If you want the perfect color under any lighting conditions this is for you. I can see the blades of grass on the football field much clearer than in my standard LCD TV. I will definitely be buying another one like this again. Couldn't be happier

After doing quite a bit of research ( consumer magazines and more tech-like publications), we had narrowed down our list of possible replacement television set to two. We chose this on after careful consideration and we very satisfied with our selection. The color criteria is excellent by our standards and many family members think the colors are fantastic too.

After many hours researching for a new 4k tv i ended up picking this one and it has a great picture with close to true blacks. And natural skin colors after a few minor adjustments. Its really good right out of the box for those who don't like to mess with settings. Really happy with the purchase so far. Has all the good apps built in. Menu system is easy to use.

My first 4K TV. Bought the 930 D Sony which upscales the usual dish broadcast into much better picture. However needed lot of adjustment and tweeking on settings. In shadow and dark areas the details are not well seen even after adjusting. Overall a big jump up from regular 1080p HDTV. Will buy 4K BD which may bring out the best of this Sony 4K -930 D has to offer.

Great picture very bright colors pops out good blacks

If you're looking for the tv with the best picture on cable or satellite, then this tv is the one for you. I've tried numerous Samsung tv's including js9000 series and the picture quality from the Sony blows it away. The reps at bestbuy always told me to go Sony and I refused until I finally had enough. My wife doesn't even care about picture quality and she walked in the room and said"WOW that picture is clear."

This tv has a great picture and is easy for me to use.

Received this 55" TV and got it setup without any issues. Does require 2 people to safely move it so you do not twist it. Made all the connections with my current Home Theater equipment and it was a piece of cake. Beautiful picture, great TV. My older Sony 3D glasses did not work with this TV, but after getting compatible glasses, no issue.

I originally planned to purchase an OLED. After weeks of reviews and shopping my wife and I decided there weren't enough benefits to the OLED to justify the extreme price difference. We are both glad we did. We purchased this SONY 55" for approximately $800 less that the "comparable" LG OLED and so far love it. Yes there has been the occasional "clouding" that is typical with this type of TV but to be honest I can only remember this twice and since we have tweeked the picture settings we do not see this anymore. Football games looking amazing and movies and tv shows look lifelike. The voice remote is fantastic and accurate. The smart apps work seamlessly. I can't comment on the audio as we purchase the SONOS playbar at the same time. Overall Great TV

Finally broke down and bought the 55". (wish they made a 60") The screen/video is almost to clear at times. The colors are super clear, sharp and bright. Most of the remote features are fairly simple, but there are a few that are a lil hard to understand what they do. It'll take you a better part of a week to really get through all of the options and setting to make it how you like it. I ended up buying a new Sony Receiver to be able to keep using my surround sound speakers. The TV connected to the receiver and my HD DVR cable box without any major problems. The TV remote turns on everything and controls most of the the cable box features and all of the receivers features. You can't go wrong with this TV and possibly buying a sound bar. I didn't purchase the sound bar cause I didn't wanna pitch my surround speakers but you will need additional speakers for louder and fuller sound, cause the tv speakers are not that great.
