I returned a 55 inch Samsung that had issues with the picture quality, I moved up to the Sony and while some friends have agreed the image quality is excellent, none have mentioned the fine detail and superior gradation. It's the nuance that gives me such satisfaction

Love this TV, amazing picture! My grandpa even commented he could see the different colors in blades of grass when watching golf. Only problem was the power panel had to be replaced-known problem and frustrating that have to wait more than a week without TV.

Really nice picture quality once you set it up correctly, compared to other LED TVs. TV restarts by itself once in a while for no apparent reason. TV warms up a closed room pretty quickly. I recommend using it on a room with an open floor plan, if possible, instead.

Bought my wife a tv after the TV in our room went out, replaced that one, then went to get me one for the man cave. This TV is awesome. 3d, 4k, 55", ps4 pro, xbox1 s, Nintendo switch all looking awesome. Android apps awesome. Ahhhhh MAN!!! THIS IS A WIN.

This is a great TV would recommend it to anyone looking for a TV the 4K is amazing I have Netflix, and DirecTV, Hulu All that looks great on the TV very happy with the selection .The only complaint I have the remote needs to be upgraded but that's it

We had a model that was faulty and we upgraded to this tv. It had a better picture than the last with more vivid colors. The 3D on this set is a little off but we are 3D snobs and it wouldn't bother the average consumer. Overall a nice set at a nice price.

One of the very few TVs still supporting the 3D content. The screen is a little smaller than than the unit it replaced but not that noticeable. The sound quality is not that great, so the POLK sound bar unit I previously bought from Best Buy comes in real handy. I will say the picture quality is much better on blue ray disks and even some DVDs look better. But some TV broadcasts with lower quality video cause mottling in "black" areas in low light scenes. I had heard of this when I read the reviews, but it seldom happens. Since there is no broadcast 4K content from my (Comcast) cable provider. and netflix and amazon have little to offer at a higher price I got a SONY 4K 3D disk player. Got a couple of movies but have not said "WOW" yet..Maybe should have got an OLED unit instead. All and all it beats watching the CNN logo burned into my previous set.

This TV has everything you need.. 4k images are extremely life-like! I find myself searching for HDR videos because the quality of this TV. Built in audio components linked with my zvox sound bar create a real cinema experience!

After a lot of in-store comparisons and reading reviews, I landed on this moderately priced yet high-end 55" 4K HDR Sony as the best bang for my buck. This TV replaced a 10 yr. old 40" Sony LCD, and while I was interested in the OLED's, I couldn't see paying that much more for the degree improvement. Instead, I went with this excellent Smart TV, which will serve very well until the next round when prices will go down as specs go up.

We purchased this item on salesman's recommendations.We wanted a large screen tv but did not know what we needed or wanted.After looking them all over we began asking questions and narrowed it down to 3 and then asked 3 different salesmen what they had and what they liked .They all said they had the same one and loved it ! So we bought one and love it !!

Nice picture and incredible amount of features. It's my first flat screen due to my suborn nature! I am happy with its performance and functionality. The remote is easy to learn and I look forward to using the apps which are new to me.

This is my first 4K TV and I couldn't be happier. I spent a lot of time weighing the pros and con of this TV vs. its closest Samsung competitor. While a Samsung TV is supposedly brighter, i have yet to encounter a view environment that would require this TV to be any brighter than it already is. My only hesitation with purchasing this TV was some reviews i read that stated users had trouble receiving surround sound when using the built in APPS. After a little research I learned that you must enable the ARC HDMI port on the receiver and television. Since then, surround sound with all the APPS! A nice little feature is the ability to hide the cables in the back of the TV. Since the back of my TV is somewhat visible from another portion of my home, the TV's back design keeps everything looking clean and organized.

We love our new TV. The clarity of the picture is phenomenal and the size is perfect for us. We would highly recommend this Sony TV. We had a 52" plasma and the difference in weight is amazing. We are very pleased with this purchase.

This buying experience was awesome, and the Geek Squad technicians were super great in installing the television. A really great job and a happy ending...these televisions are super-clear.

Our first HD TV and it gives a beautiful picture. Got it just before Super Bowl and watching the game on this TV was great. HD picture is bright and clear. Geek Squader named Tony set it up and gave tips, and cleaned up after himself.

Love the picture on my new tv you just have to make sure you buy the expensive HDMI cord to get the 4k picture that your looking for and a HDMI from your receiver to your cable provider and make sure it's 4K cable box but it's great

Picture quality is good with an easy to use Android interface. Sound quality from the internal speakers is average, and may require a separate audio system for better surround sound.

The fancy backlight doesn't really justify the extra price above the model right under it. I would stick with the 800 series if I was to buy it again. Otherwise the TV is great. The remote is bad, the buttons are very stiff to push.
