Awesome display. Works well with Netflix HDR. Android TV and Chromecast are nice additions. Upscales Blu-ray 1080P. Very thin package.

Love the picture quality. Setup was easy. Sony customer service was helpful when questions arise. It was our second Sony TV and the old one is still going after 10 yes. Will continue buying Sony products in the future.

I bought it for great reviews on BestBuy and other electronic sites. Pros: - Excellent picture quality - Android TV - Stylish look and great finish - Thin and light weight Cons: - Very few Android Apps are available on Android TV (even browser is not available on Android TV) - Sound is not very sharp. Needs lot of adjustments for a good quality sound. My older Sony TV has better sound - 3D issues. I bought 3D Active glasses and tried them with this TV's 3D mode. Unfortunately, 3D does not work very effectively.

Sooooo. I originally bought the x850d and I thought was awesome and would work perfectly for the needs that I was originally going to buy it for. However it was a horror story. I had to exchange the tv 7times!!! Do to lack of manufacturer issues with it. However I had to pay more sadly to this tv because it was the last one left. And I have to say that I was so happy with it even though it did cost me more that I originally wanted to spend. The picture quality and video is so perfect and the movement of moving objects on the screen are so smooth and the awesome backlight system is legit when watching a movie or playing PS4. The only thing that really sucks about this tv is the fact that the built. In audio really is lousy and it is easily fixed when u buy a sound bar which I did. (Ht nt5). Over all I love my tv and even though it is on the pricey side, I don't regret this purchase at all.

I purchased the SONY XBR55X930D primarily due to the design, features (i.e. Android OS), and picture quality. The design is very sleek, modern, and minimalist to say the least. With the OS being Android, it is very easy to use and also easy to setup! The picture quality on this edge-lit LED LCD is stunning - nowhere near as good as LG's OLED units but one of the best for LCD. If you are looking a high quality picture with a modern and sleek design, then I would highly recommend looking at this SONY!

Picture,colour etc etc is excellent. Sound changes on remote control is hard to operate.Too many steps to change close captioning to select and deselect. Remote control features could have been made easier to operate. Tv is 5 star- Rating. TV is Excellent.

We were a little hesitant to purchase this TV because we felt it was a bit pricey...especially compared to other TV's we have had in the past. However, we were so drawn to the crisp, clear image of it, that we decided it was worth it. We are both so glad that we took the chance as we have been enjoying many shows and movies together since this purchase! Not to mention the salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all of our questions, too!

Ive owned samsungs 1080p 4k... Sony destroys them all. Honest opinion. Android tv works flawless.

We were looking at consumer reports and had decided to by the 4K Samsung TV.. But when we saw this Sony TV, the contrast on faces was incredible and just seemed like a better picture. We are very happy with our purchase and the geek squad installation.

From every source the picture quality is flawless. The thin design is impressive but it is the picture quality which sold me. Expensive but I picked up a year older, cheaper model and wasn't happy with uneven backlighting of the older model...

I purchased an 55" XBR-850D several weeks ago. Awesome TV - I customized my Google Apps, got rid of a bad light bleed problem on my own, and tweeked the picture settings many times a week. Despite all this, the picture was not good at all for dark scenes or anything dark for that matter. I was planning to keep it but this model went on sale this week. With the 930D, I get all the great features of the 850 plus a much better picture. Like getting a sick puppy, I felt horrible returning it - it really tried to produce a nice picture, but Sony hobbled it with an IPS screen and poor edge lighting. Feel free to adopt my old TV but for four hundred dollars more you get get the best TV under $1300 available today.

Overall, our experience with this TV, for last 2 months, has been great. It was very simple to set up, and the Android TV is very capable, except that I can use the built-in Google cast feature only with Youtube. Regarding picture quality, it lives up to the reputation of the Sony brand. Upscaling is excellent. Sound quality is OK, like most HD TVs nowadays. I bought a Sonos playbar to enhance the sound, and I'm happy.

The Sony 930D delivers everything I was looking for in a TV. Some of the key differentiators for me include: - Incredible picture quality - No judder - Bright & accurate colors - An intuitive interface The only downfall would be the sound quality. For a truly immersive sports or movie experience, I think a soundbar and sub-woofer would be required.

We have an antenna on our roof (no cable) and this tv has the most incredible picture I've come across. Nothing like free tv and high definition. Plus it allows us to reach nearly all of the available streaming channels with the use of our Wi-Fi. That includes 4K content on Sony's ULTRA channel. Some of the streaming channels are even free. And don't get me started on the 3D - outstanding!

I bought this TV to replace the 1080P TV in our master bedroom after getting a first generation Sony 4K TV downstairs. Supporting HDR on this model though the colors within the picture and absolutely stunning. The audio is quite good also although personally I'm using this with an external audio system to deliver 5.1 surround sound when watching movies. The TV can deliver 4K content through several providers via the apps that accompany the TV although I have found that occasionally the content buffers which is likely more a factor of my WI-FI than anything else. As such, I'd definitely recommend getting a Blu-Ray player that supports the 4K Blu-Ray disks that have become popular recently. You will not be disappointed and honestly, I'd rather wait to watch new movie releases on this TV than at the movie theater. Would recommend this TV without hesitation.

This TV is awesome. Picture quality is great specially the dark scenes. When you watch something that is showing a night picture of a city the detail is amazing. The colors are also very vivid. Just can't get over how the colors just pop. Only issue we had was the stand had a dent in it. Disappointing that Sony let that out the door. Need better quality control.

I spent months researching for a 4K tv and this is the one i brought home. and it is definitely one of the best for the money, especially now that the price went down. it has a really nice picture with deep blacks and bright whites. real natural colors right out of the box. the apps work great and has a decent remote. to get better you would have to spend quit a bit more.

Mainly bought this TV for streaming movies/TV shows and gaming and the picture quality is excellent! I was worried about the input lag based on other review sites, but haven't received any lag while playing Destiny on PS4 Pro or Battlefield 1 on Xbox One S. But neither are outputting to Ultra HD/4K. So, hopefully my review doesn't change or Sony patches that up.

I went back-and-forth between this and the Samsung and although it’s a great picture I think Samsung may have a smarter TV.
