The remote is cheaply built and not accurate in its responses, especially when using the onscreen keyboard. There is no manual; only an e-manual on the Sony website, and it is poorly documented. When the screen froze, no mention of where the power button is located and it took me about 30 minutes of careful examination to find it in the back as a very small and nondescript button. For such an expensive and well-designed TV, the crappy remote and nonexistent manual made for frustrating hours in setup and tweeking of settings.

Open Box Excellent it is NOT

Well, it was hardly excellent as it was missing all the screws to install the stand, the back of the tv was all scratched and the metal stand itself was placed in the box on the tv screen. WHAT! the only thing that saved the screen was the BB person messed up and put the protective plastic film. In addition, after placing the TV on the wall which I didn't want to do the tv's firmware was corrupt and would not accept Dobly Vision signal so I had to download the update and re-install the operating system via USB. Now I'm upset because I've suddenly become a non-compensated BB employee.... I would have given this entire fiasco one star but only after vigorously complaining to BB they capitulated and gave me a break on the price essentially taking the price down to satisfactory which the tv actually is, not "excellent". The only reason I did not immediately return the TV is the new holiday return policy is to Jan 16, 2021. So we'll see how it goes but I'm skeptical given this poor showing by BB. So as always caveat emptor and even in these COVID days inspect the open box before lugging it home... Overall a very disappointing overall experience.
