    The product is great. Getting it installed was another issue. Nothing but trouble. Still waiting for a call back regarding a $200 credit from the Geek Squad. Nothing but a great big headache. Almost sorry I bought the darned thing!!

    The picture quality was really bad/blurry even when I changed to Vivid picture it was still not good.

      We are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the picture quality on your K-55XR50 and that you found the image to be really bad/blurry, even after adjusting the settings to Vivid. This is certainly not the high-quality visual experience we intend to deliver with our BRAVIA XR televisions.

      A blurry or poor-quality picture, especially on a 4K model, often points to an issue with the source material or the TV's input settings, rather than the panel itself. We recommend checking the following:

      Ensure the content you are watching is true High Definition (HD) or 4K. Standard Definition (SD) content, even when upscaled by the TV, will still appear significantly less sharp.

      If you are using an external device (like a cable box or streaming stick), verify that the device is set to output the highest resolution possible (4K or 1080p).

      While Vivid increases brightness and color, it might sometimes over-process the image. Try switching to the Standard or Custom picture mode, and ensure that motion settings like Motionflow are set to Standard or Off, as overly aggressive motion smoothing can sometimes introduce blurriness.

      First, please try a simple power cycle: unplug the TV from the wall outlet for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. If the screen is still black, please check all of your video cables (like an HDMI cable) to ensure they are securely connected to both the TV and your source device. It's also a good idea to try a different HDMI port on the TV.
