But has not happened again. I unplugged it for a while and worked fine after plugging it back in. The picture is outstanding!

Great, but no V/R remote, so soundbar didn't work

Not only does the OLED look great, but the viewing angle is much larger than my old tv. I can now having people sitting closer and at a more angle to the tv and be able to see clearly. The thing I wasn't prepared for, and why the 4 stars, is the TV remote is not V/R but bluetooth, so it wasn't compatible with my Sonos soundbar. I had to upgrade my soundbar to an e/arc soundbar and that was an expense I hadn't planned. Read the manual on the HDMI ports. I assumed they all would work the same and that every HDMI port would be 4k, but only some of the HDMI ports are 4K and one of the hdmi ports is taken up by the soundbar now. I had used an apple tv before, but this smart tv has all the features of that, and has replaced that device.

Was think about the A80L or A95K for my mom, but this one came up right on Christmas Eve with the same imagine quality and processing power as the top Sony models (slightly worse speakers on this model didn’t matter because we bought a soundbar). My mom is very happy with the TV and I got to upgrade her successfully! :-)

I wish there were a remote button like my much less expensive Samsung. I purchased a $50.00 remote with backlight so I can see dang thing at night. It came with a remote but No backlight. Otherwise it’s a beautiful picture, very easy set up. I’d love to give it 5 start but the cc thing is aggravating. The sound quality is awesome. No need for a soundbar.

Closed captioning is limited to the shows that provide it, so if you’re not getting captions after ensuring the closed caption feature is enabled, you might be watching a non-captioned show. Closed caption (CC) information is not available from a cable set-top box, satellite receiver, DVD player, or Blu-ray Disc® (BD) player connected to the TV using an HDMI® cable. When using this type of connection, use the subtitle feature of the source device instead of the CC of the TV or connect the source device to the television using a component or composite video cable. CC is only supported when using an analog output that is 480i.
NOTE: Using a component video connection will only work if the output setting is set to 480i.
If you're watching a streaming service, like Netflix, Hulu®, Youtube™, or another service, you may need to turn on captioning within the service itself. Refer to the service you're watching for instructions.

Our last one died and without hesitation we checked with Best Buy for our next one. The picture is so clear people look 3d. You Need This!

Well worth the money. I was always skeptical about pricing on OLED TVs but now that I own one, I can understand the viewing experience makes it worthwhile. I love the eARC port so I can use with my Sonos system.
