If you're using it for Xbox series x then you won't get 120hz but that's a Microsoft issue. PS5 works as it should. Movies look absolutely fantastic, rivals my LG OLED CX maybe looks better but it needs to be in a dark room for OLED to shine.

When Sony talks about nearly infinite contrast ratio, they are not kidding. The Google platform is efficient and well designed. There are plenty of standard apps. Tons of built in features. Excellent 4K UHD picture quality.

Amazing Oled Valué

Compared it with The LG C2 and B2 and it trumps the C2 on value and picture quality. Upscaling is amazing. This TV has the best picture processing in its class. The only TV’s that can touch it are the more expensive dive Sony TVs like the A90 series and A95, but those are significantly more money for a not very significant increase in picture quality. Tons of adjustability and gaming is great. If you have multiple consoles and also a gaming pc and want to hook them all up, I suggest getting an HDMI 2.1 splitter as opposed to going with the LG die to the superior image quality of the Sony. It’s that noticeable and the small difference in input lag (C2 is approximately 9ms quicker) is not noticeable. Get this tv, you won regret it. And BTW the sound is fantastic!!!

Skeptical wife LOVES it

We bought a cheaper LED but the glare was too much for our space. Not only is the picture quality excellent, the sound quality makes all of my other TVs sound terrible, good and bad I suppose. I also really love how you don’t need a Firestick to download a lot of apps.

Max brightness is just enough to considered great in my opinion. What seems really cool about this one is the AI to enhance lower quality streams. DVD quality actually looks great! A Pleasure to Watch

The colors are true to the content and not just blown out and bright as some TVs make them. There's a richness and saturation to the picture that's just a pleasure to watch. Scenes with inky blacks are just spectacular. I have this TV in a bedroom with a full wall of windows to the side of the TV and it's still plenty bright. The sound is good for built in TV and does, as it is, sound like it's coming straight out of the screen. The clear dialogue setting is great. The only issue I've encountered so far was the wifi module spontaneously turning itself off and refusing to turn on. After a quick Google search, that was easily resolved. So, as long as it doesn't repeat or become routine, I won't let it detract from my rating for now. My wife is now hoping for our living room TV to fail so that we can get another one of these!

Does anyone else remember when LCD came out and you were amazed at the clairty and brightness in a thin panel TV? Buying an OLED gives you that feeling again plus more. The contrast is perfect, literally. The colors pop right off the screen and the 120HZ refresh rate combined with the very capable black frame insertion feature make this TV an absolute pleasure to use for anything from sports to video games and the latest 4K movies. It truly doesnt hold back anywhere. Even the built in speakers are by far the most impressive speakers I've had in a TV from the past 15 years. This TV is awesome. You'll love it and you'll feel like you have no reason to ever go to a movie theater again.

It has been a great purchase. The picture quality is phenomenal. I have not had any issues with brightness issues, but I do have it in a naturally dark room. Google TV has been solid as a streaming platform. Worth the price.

Incredible picture!

I've always loved the Sony products and accepted that they were usually a little more than other brands. I'd been watching this model for a couple weeks and when it went on sale, I jumped at the opportunity. I knew that OLED was better but had no idea just how good a picture could look. Every color is brighter, and the blacks are darker. The images are crisp and clear. I paired it with my Sony HTA-7000 soundbar/sub-woofer/rear speakers and was blown away. The center speaker function really makes it seem like the sound is coming directly from the screen. I've had those other "S" brand tv's for sometime now and am glad I've switched back to Sony.

Only issue I ever have is that it will give a popup whenever it drops connection/reconnects (not very frequent, and resolves immediately). You can't turn off that notification.

Upgraded from a 49" X900f sony led. This ones not as bright, I can tell you that right from the get go the difference in brightness is very apparent. What you sacrifice in brightness however you make up for in almost every other picture aspect. Fine details, color, contrast all are so much better on this display. Out of the box the picture is ok, I say just tweak the settings a bit and youre bound to find an amazing picture to your liking. If youre debating getting thi tv, just do yourself a favor and go for it.
