Love the depth of image and the sound is good for coming from the TV. I would definitely recommend for someone who would use in a darker room and am hoping to upgrade to a 77" when I can afford it. Buy and you won't be disappointed.

I ise it in my bedroom so its perfect. Bit when you are watching the content the pucture is amazing. Inhave two other LG OLED tvs and this one is just as good or better.

Worth the added expense over the lower priced Sony models - as the main TV in the house - L/R, especially around noisy kids. Probably wouldn't spend the extra money for this high quality for a bedroom TV.

Superb TV

The TV is just fantastic. Everything from the great picture to a remote that a human can actually use. I was replacing a Samsung TV that was just utterly frustrating to use (remote is terrible). When buying this Sony I was not expecting the picture to be so much better - it's more vibrant, better blacks, better viewing angle limits. This TV has reinvigorated my love of Sony. Setup was trivial, it recognized my Fios cable box instantly and applied an update as soon as it was setup. Very pleasant user experience overall. Best Buy was great and the price was competitive.

I'm no expert in all of the varieties of TV technology, but I knew that OLEDs had improved quite a bit in recent years, and that Sony was at the forefront when it came to picture technology (I'm not much of a gamer). I decided to splurge on the A80J - splurging on the A90J was simply not possible - after a couple of trips to the store to do some comparisons. I haven't been disappointed yet. The setup was simple and easy, and I'm finding I'm actually enjoying movies and TV shows much more now. If you're trying to be less of a couch potato, this won't help.

Stunning picture. Inky blacks contrast perfectly with seemingly near infinite color pallete. No funny motion issues. Attractive thin panel with premium quality ultra thin bezel. Handles reflections really well. Plenty of brightness for a light room. Might appear dim if you’re used to a regular LED, though. Even the built in speaker sounds good. Works great with my Sony HT-A5000 soundbar with center channel connection. And as the slightly lower sibling to the Sonys flagship TV you get 90+% performance and features for 50% of the top of the line model’s cost. Picked mine up for under $1000. Outstanding.

I considered a less expensive Samsung, but saw the deal on this and it was too good to pass up. The sound, the picture, and ease of setup- very happy with it all! If you have a big space, you may want to consider splurging on the larger, but the 55 works well for me. My parents have the 65 and it is amazing. I did the curbside which was a breeze, though I later learned that this type of tv is not supposed to be transported while laying flat- it's supposed to be vertical. The person who put the tv into my car was super nice, but he didn't know about this detail. Luckily the TV made it home safe.

I watch a lot of movies and it is perfect for the movies. It was a bit pricey but worth it for movie watching. Even older movies are more enjoyable to watch. I had a sound bar with my last tv, but the sound on this TV is so good that I do not need the sound bar. I am not tech savy but installation was easy. The service person gave me his phone number and told me to call him if I had any questions. Appreciated the offer, but it wasn't necessary. Recommend this TV.

We are crazy happy with this set. Streaming video is now flawless. Color and sound is bright and clear. We added the SONY 700 soundbar/SW yesterday. Call us some happy campers!

Sony Bravia 55 inch OLED TV

I'm not going to go into the same detail but let me say this. I am so happy with the TV. I put this in my family room to replace an older TV and what a difference> It's easy to setup and easy to use. The OLED viewing is unbelievable- just wish more TV shows broadcast to take advantage of this feature. The colors the TV displays are beautiful - this is the TV for a smaller family room and having all the available apps make it even more enjoyable (and some of the apps have 4K transmission) So glad I bought both the 77 inch and 55 inch TV's - yes a little hit to the wallet, but to me worth every penny
