A nearly perfect TV

I have it wall mounted so the surface acoustic audio technology really sounds amazing. It is almost the perfect television. Only downside is it only has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. On a scale from 1 to 10 it is a 9.5. Do not hesitate to make this purchase. I know its a pricey for a 55 incher. But honestly I bought it and never looked back. No regrets.

A Very Merry Christmas For Sure...!

While I was there, my interest went to the new OLED TV's. After another visit or 2, I was completely comfortable finally obtaining a 65" Sony OLED Bravia TV (and sound bar). The clarity of this unit is incredible. It is like looking out a window! This was a Christmas present for my wife and I and we could not be more satisfied. Everyone involved with the purchasing process was helpful and extremely professional. I would not hesitate to make my next major purchase at Best Buy!

Never tried the built-in sound as I have a nice AV receiver and speaker set-up - Others have said the Sony's sound is nice. I was impressed with the TV RF receiver - found over 45 stations in MSP area, with a not very good antenna. This again was good, but I have cable so don't really care about that either. The TV has ATSC 3 decoding so it's ready for that that when and if that happens in the MSP area. I really like this TV and is so worth the money!

I'm disappointed in the fact fact i was told the TV had built in ROKU. It does not. I was hoping for one less remote. I also have been unable the get the CC to work using the TV remote. I can get CC through my ROKU.

Good TV, but expensive

The less expensive one has better picture and color. That all may be in the settings that we should look into, but right now that’s how it is.

To adjust the picture quality to your preferences, refer to the Adjusting the picture quality page. Smart TV Changes Channels Slowly

While Highly rated by Consumer Reports we are disappointed they didn't warn us that when you change the channel, it's not instantaneous. Instead you get a rotating circle while it thinks about how to change channel. Kind of like the hourglass in older computers. This is progress???? Seriously??? Never had a TV take 5-10 seconds just to change channel. Yes picture quality is very good, but it doesn't blow us away. The channel thing, however, is really stupid. Engineers should cut out the smart business on channel change if it requires too much processing power to implement fast. Ugh!!! Drives us nuts!! 2 stars is generous.

It is normal that it can take up to 5 seconds to display the picture when changing channels or changing inputs. There can be a slightly longer delay when changing to and from an input connected with an HDMI® cable. For optimum performance, please ensure to install the latest software. If your TV is already up-to-date with the latest software, perform a Power cycle/reset

This has been a solid upgrade to my home theatre. This works great with my PS5 and standalone players. Digital optical cable direct into my receiver gives Dolby sound with 0 latency (looking at Samsung and LG). If you are ready to make the leap from LED to OLED, you will notice a difference right away. As with most OLEDs, this one is a bit dimmer (compared to my Bravia LED from 2017), but at night there is no comparison -it's clear OLED wins! HIGHly recommend

TV turns on randomly at all hours by itself.

Whether I’m watching a movie, playing my PS5, or even have on cartoons for my son the quality and different setting allows me to see details I never new existed. On top of that the sound is phenomenal, no sound bar needed. The only bad thing I have to say is that throughout the time we’ve had the tv it turns on by it self pretty often. Unfortunately it has woke us up in the middle of the night many times by just turning on by itself and the google voice will just talk sometimes. like I said the picture and voice are great, but when it turns on at 3am it wakes up my wife, my toddler son, and myself on a work day because it’s so loud and bright. For as much as this TV costs there should be no issues and until they fix this problem I would recommend passing on this option.

Posted .Hi GOAT, While we are glad that you like the picture quality of your TV, we regret that the TV randomly turns on. This is definitely not the experience we'd like you to have. We'd love to help you troubleshoot your problem and turn this into a better experience.
Is there an HDMI device connected to your TV? If, the CEC control of these devices may be the issue of why the tv is waking up.
In the meantime, please try restarting or resetting the TV.
Power Reset or Restart Options
If the power cord is accessible, try a power reset. If not, then use either of the restart options.
Unplug the TV power cord from the wall outlet, wait two minutes, then plug the power cord back in.
Restart the TV with the supplied remote control:
-Press and hold the POWER button until Power off appears on the screen
-Press and hold the POWER button until a menu appears → select Restart
Restart the using the menu. On the remote:
Press (Quick Settings) → Settings → System → Restart → Restart
Press HOME → navigate to Settings → About → Restart → Restart
Press HOME → navigate to Settings → Device Preferences → About → Restart → Restart

Deep blacks, bright colors. A bit brighter than the LG OLED CX I have now but not by much. Certainly cost a bit less. Apps are nice and speedy so it has a decent processor in it. The easy of setting up the stand is amazing and with very slight adjustment it adapts for a sound bar. Very impressed with this OLED. Sound system is unique and it is THROUGH the screen which gives you decent bass response and more direct sound.

The OLED screen is so sharp and vibrant. The Google set up with Voice option let’s you find everything in one place instead of using a Roku to do all my streaming. I can now find ANYTHING by using Google Voice. The sound is great and I can listen to TV without needing to turn down the volume at night. The speakers project out of the actual screen so at sending the sound directly toward the viewers, plus no ugly speakers showing! Do not hesitate to buy this TV.

Great color and tv to buy.

Looking at the back of this tv my wife and I did not want to take a chance so we had Best Buy install it. The individual who installed our tv was knowledgeable and had it working with all my external devices before leaving. He also answered all my questions. This tv replaced a 2014 LG 55UB8500 and you will not believe how much better the picture is. OLED does make a difference.
