Awesome experience with sound and picture. Overall good and quality product. One suggestion to Sony, Mute button on the remote is very small, make it more visible as we often use it.

Voice command option on remote control makes channel switching easier than ever. (I use the TV with Youtube TV and the integration is seamless and does not require a cable box).

Great picture and sound right out of the box, but can deliver even better using the generous controls provided. After setting the color to BT2020,and readusting accordingly, the picture quality is mind blowing! Sound is very good, especially after adjusting the EQ, but a decent sound bar can do even better. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchas, kudos to Sony for a top notch TV!

Sony A80J OLED 55" 4K UHD TV

The A80J has an amazing picture and sound to match, too! Integration with our Sony sounder was a snap and Google TV works great! We took a chance on OLED and it was worth it. Side benefit is ATSC 3.0 compliance which gives us excellent local TV station pictures and sound. Thanks Best Buy and Sony!!!

Best OLED TV out there next to the A90J

I have been researching and saw the Sony OLED TVs are always the top rated for picture and quality. I got mine home and absolutely love the picture, you definitely get what you pay for. The sound is really good for built in audio as well. I would recommend this TV to anyone who wants the best and a quality product that should last.

The reason: I wanted to cancel my TV Provider and stream instead. Where I live we have only two choices for TV. I cannot express how glad I am for doing that. The new SONY is ten times better than I. expected. The colors, the sound, etc, nothing to complain. For the way that I watch TV, it makes sense.

Had a Sony 3D 4K TV which developed the "Red Flashing Lights of Death" which I could not resolve so I bought this one and Wow the colors are more vivid and the sound is great. I am really happy with this one. Not so happy that I can't watch my 3D movies anymore since I only had the old one for about 5 years. Usually Sonys last a lot longer than that.

This is my first OLED and man let me tell you OLED is truly the next generation experience when it comes to TV. The colors are beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I paired with an Apple TV 4K and it’s a superb streaming experience. If you pair this TV in a dark room to watch movies you will be stunned at how good it looks!

I really like how the legs just snap in and also have 3 different positions if you have a sound bar or a smaller tv stand. Great tv for movies and streaming but surprisingly not all the features for top gaming. Missing VRR(variable refresh rate) g-sync, dedicated game menu and only 2 4k@120hz hdmi ports. Also lots of app options with google OS.

Great picture for its time and no issues even though I moved three times. I drooled over LG OLEDs for several years, but Sony kept me in it's camp with this new A80J OLED. Great, vibrant picture and I'm not using my sound bar anymore since this unit's sound does every bit as well. Very pleased!

I was leaning towards the A90J but got this instead (better from the price-point for me after initial research). And now every-time i watch something, i realize that i made the right decision. Good and simple UI Best in class picture quality Also the google assistant via the remote can be a pretty handy feature. If someone does not want to buy a sound-bar, they can very well skip it as the tv speakers are really good
