I was looking for a larger TV for a built in cabinet in which I used to have a 65”. Current 65” TVs are 2/8’s of an inch too large. I could find no TVs larger than this 55” that would fit. Would have liked one larger Than the 54.

I dont care for Google TV spying on me. I liked Roku TV better on my cheap set.I It was easier to set up apps. Im still not fully knowledgeable about this tv but we do enjoy watching movies on it. I think it was way too expensive . We waited for a Black Friday sale. Return policy being only 15 days was ridiculous since its a 55 inch tv and time is needed to unpack

The HDMI ports power on/off when they feel like it and keeps restarting my fire stick over and over. The headphones option also is temperamental and one minute, I can use them, the very next attempt it won't let me. It loses antenna channels for no reason and i even climbed onto the roof to check the antenna because I thought something was wrong but nope. all my other TVs were fine, It was just this Sony piece of crap that was the problem. No wonder it was on sale for half price! I've spent the past 3 weeks wondering what the problems were but now I know. Sorry Sony, but never again and I am done with this brand.

The type of reception that you'll receive will depend on the antenna type that you're using and how far a particular station is. If you believe that certain local channels are not appearing, after doing the scan, antenna rotation or re-positioning may be needed to increase received signal strength. There’s a lot to learn about it, if you choose to. But you can pretty much plug-and-play as well. The picture quality seems to be very good with streaming services, but I don’t notice too much of a difference with cable. Overall though good value for the money as I got this when it was half off.
