There have been exactly two times in my life when I've thought to myself "Wow - so THAT'S what TV is supposed to look like". The first time was back in 2002 when, while walking through Sears (RIP), I saw a 5-figure Sony 42" Plasma screen playing LoTR, Fellowship of The Ring on DVD. My Dad and I literally stopped in our tracks and stared, completely transfixed by the display model - unable to believe that a movie could look THAT good. I'm proud to say that the second time I had that thought was yesterday when I set up this TV in my own home. The only word is "stunning". Even right out of the box, watching 4k HDR Content on Netflix was an eye-opening experience. The true blacks, realistic color accuracy, and amazing HDR highlights combine to make beloved content from the last few years look and feel brand new. Even in lower-quality broadcasts (live TV), this panel outperforms my old Samsung MU6300 by leaps and bounds. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and would urge everyone considering upgrading their TV to find a store that has this panel as a demo unit - it really has to be seen to be believed.

Just a Great tv. The colors are just amazing. And very easy to set up and use the Google tv. The sound quality is also pretty good. It was crazy watching Dune on here for the first time. The picture just blew me away!!!

I’ve had the tv for over a year and am so pleased with it. Clarity, excellent color, short learning curve. I’ve been a Sony fan for years but switched to another brand for a few years. Am do glad to be back.

OLED is always 5 stars. Colors out of the Box were close to standard. ATSC 3.0 (next gen) tuner is nice. We went from 1 network in HD to finding all our networks on a frequency that worked. Very cool tech and more than expected. I have the LG OLED as well. We don’t really use the TV systems for either, we use Apple TV. Google TV may be of interest if you use it. Everything is very customizable on the Bravia. Plenty of brightness for even our room full of windows. We were afraid that it would not show through but it ABSOLUTELY works well! TV sits tiled back 5 degrees. Feet are amazing and stable in the factory lowest position which is the only way we have used it.

The picture is amazing! You can even count the scales in the fish while watching Finding Nemo. Nature documentary are my favorite to watch on this TV as the color is pristine.

This is my first OLED tv and I am really satisfied with this purchase. Sony never ceases to amaze me. I use it with my PlayStation 5 and it pairs incredibly with it. 120hz/ VRR / 4K / HDR. Made it so incredibly easy to figure it all out also, the ARC HDMI port is specially made for PS5 and possibly other systems but I can only speak from experience. The sound quality is also phenomenal for a tv. I was going to buy a sound bar but I’m holding off now because it’s working fine. The picture quality is phenomenal. It’s worth every penny in my opinion. Hope this helps! (Also easy to screen mirror with IPhone)

Major upgrade from my decade-old LG. For an OLED it’s a deal. Great picture and features, easy to set up and use. Sound is good for basic viewing, but I would recommend a sound bar if you need strong audio performance.

Best tv I have ever owned. Colors and Blacks are outstanding. Ease of setting up are also very nice. Sound is also very good for flat screen tv. I believe it is 30 watts which for me is plenty loud enough.

The picture is outstanding! Replacing my 900E that was 5 years old and loved it but dropped it - long story - and broke the screen. The thing that stands out with this model is the sound, just unbelievable great sound for a super thin screen! I didn't even bother to use sound system. Truly remarkable sound compared to about 10 other flat screens I have owner, The bass they get out of this is awesome! I couldn't stand the 900e without a sound system. I am sure a surround sound would sound better but for those who do not want to use one, this is your solution! Cheap plastic fantastic remote but it works great pointed any direction or no direction.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. If you are trying to decide whether or not it’s worth the extra money to go with OLED vs. LED it is. The picture is amazing and the black is actually black.

Sony’s technology has always been a step ahead of the competition. That is certainly true with the OLED TV I purchased. Beautiful accurate colors and rich deep black. I’m so pleased with my Sony TV!!!

amazing tv. got it in my bedroom and hooked it up to sonos system. the colors are so vivid and the black looks true to color. highly recommend it

works well for the past 2 years. lush colours . nice sound. the remote is a bit bulky . not a smart remote.

Got this open box and it's been fantastic! It's my first oled tv and after this I won't be going back to lcd. It's also a great companion to the ps5 with it's 120hz refresh rate. Sound is ok, better if you have a sound bar or external speakers.

Quality TV with wonderful IQ. Blacks are deep and rival plasma. I've used over a year now and no issues. Sony produces some great TVs

This is a great all around TV. Great picture, awesome colors and great sound. Don't hesitate buying especially on sale.

This A80J is replacing my 2010 Samsung LED semi-smart TV which was a great unit. I went with Sony this time for 2 reasons, 1. I like the more natural colors of Sony vs the vividness of Samsung. 2. This Sony is one of the few televisions that actually have the ATSC 3.0 tuner for Nextgen Over air broadcasts. I gave up cable 10 yrs ago and have been over the air since and of course it's an OLED with great blacks. So far the television has been fantastic. The sound is good, I wouldn't say outstanding, not yet anyway but it's still better than other televisions I looked at and I was able to adjust the equalizer for more bass response that you can hear. The over the air broadcasts in the NextGen format are great with a great cable-style program guide and some interactive potential on the main local channels. The only issues i had was when watching a footbal game or local news, in soem instances, it seemed like the faces or skin of the person would start to go blocky or seem like it was breaking up and this is most noticible on white skin that is sweating and the lights are reflecting off the skin, it causes the image to look a bit odd....I tried all different settings to fix it with no success.....then noticed that this seems to occur on programs that are broadcast in 720 resolution and not so much in 1080. I have not seen any 4k broadcasts to this point. My guess is that the television is trying to upscale the 720 broadcasts and it's not working very well in that one area. I have connected the television to my Alexa devices and it does work with voice commands although sometimes a little finicky. All in all another great BRAVIA television Sony is known for. Actually like the more than the last remote I had, just wish for the premium price they would have backlit it like the A90j so it's not so hard to see in the dimly lit room. In regards to picture brightness, I don't have a super bright room but I have the brightness set at 33 i think out of 50, and it's fine. I was a bit concerned with the whites not really being white but setting color temp to COOL fixed that.

So far I’m very happy with this TV. I only use it as a monitor as all sound is processes by a Yamaha AV system with a 5.1 speaker set up. It is more complicated to use than the previous Braveria, I want it to turn on with the HDMI port as the default. I haven’t figured it out yet and have to select input every time I use it. I do hope that it is more reliable than my last one where the screen failed in 3 years and I don’t use it very much. I don’t use the built in spaeakers and can’t comment on its sound. I have $1,500 of Polk speakers including a 12” sub so the sound is amazing,
