My 4th Sony Bravia TV

I have been very happy with all of them. Never a problem and great picture quality. I only upgraded for larger units and always have two in use in living and bedrooms and pass down the older ones to family members. I feel the higher price for the Bravia XR Sony units are well worth it for the reliability and picture quality

Picture quality is great, just but slow

My wife and I couldn't not believe how much a leap in quality we got from buying this tv. I grew up with Sony Wega CRT tvs as a kid. Then we switched to LGs when got our first LCD tv until my recent LED 4k tv, my 5th LG, that I bought in 2019. I thought that TV was great. Granted, that was only edge lit and an entry level 4k HDR tv that was around $350. But man, I forgot how good Sony is at making TVs! I was wary of the concerns regarding OLED tvs that is why I decided to go with a 55" first. Let me tell you that if you are on the fence like myself, you can put those worries to rest and take the leap. Picture quality is astounding, Resolution and color are crisp ang vibrant. Watching Dolby Vision and Imax Enhanced content will blow your mind, make your eyes tear up in happiness. Brightness in daytime is ok, I did not notice it was lacking in any way. OLED is really the direction you need to take if you want to step up your entertainment setup. Sound is great too. For our modest living room size, the TV produces enough oomph that my wife got startled from a thunder from something we were watching. This is the best TV I've had and have totally no regrets in buying it. I don't know if you can update reviews here but I will try, if I encounter anything unwanted in the time I expect this to last, that is atleast 7 years with my low to moderate usage.

No problems and the sound still sounds awesome

My films, streaming, and video games have never looked so amazing! Highly recommend, but please read my concerns and complaints below before buying. Buyer beware: This television is not for those expecting an automatic boost in quality. It WILL require either knowledge of tv setup or internet surfing to find the right settings for video game consoles. If you have little patience, then I recommend you ask Geek Squad or a friend to help out with setup. My Xbox One X would not initially play 4K HDR on this tv, but did have a convenient troubleshooting program that helped me turn 1080p no HDR at 120 hz (out of tv box) into 4K HDR at 60 hz. Despite the tv’s 120 hz refresh rate, video game consoles below the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will not output 4K HDR above 60 hz. It’s sound isn’t all that great, and should be supplemented with a sound bar. I find that I often must turn the sound up for some apps and devices while turning it down for others. Lots of apps you love are available including some from your Android devices like games. Unfortunately, the device’s maximum hard drive size is 4.4 GB, so not a lot of games can be installed on the native drive.

Picture quality is great and it works wonderfully for PS5 games. No burn in so far *knock on wood* Overall i would highly recommend.

Haven’t had any issues with it so far. Love everything about it! Got it mainly for my ps5 to be in the same ecosystem since I also got a Sony sound bar. Image and colors are amazing! Sound could be better but most TVs like this don’t come too great a sound stock. Best to enhance with external speakers. Got some govee led lights on it as well and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
