A bit disappointing

I explained that we had changed to dtv streaming from dtv satellite services, and wanted a tv compatible with that streaming app. We were guaranteed that the tv would connect flawlessly. After numerous calls to various supports, we learned that the only way to access our dtv streaming was to play it on a different, compatible device and then use Bluetooth to mirror the programming. This is inconvenient, to say the least. My new tv has a gorgeous picture and great sound, but what good is that if I'm having to access programming the way I'm required to. Oh, we were also told by dtv that it would work if we purchased a fire stick, apple tv adapter, etc. Ummm, no. This tv cost quite a bit. Why should i have to invest additional money for something we should have been aware of from the start? First time I've felt frustrated with best buy.
