Nice Google OS tv but be aware no Chromecast.

Chromecast built-in (Google Cast) lets you watch your favorite entertainment and apps from your mobile device or computer on your Android TV or Google TV. When you cast to the TV, it doesn't disconnect the internet connection or mirror content. This offers an advantage over Screen mirroring and Wi-Fi® Direct functions as you can cast content to the TV while you work in other apps or programs on your device.

The tv does freeze up at times and the respond rate can be slow. For the price I was surprised I already had issues with the tv within the first 6 months.

First, please check if the software is updated. Updating the TV to the latest software allows you access to the newest features and fixes specific problems.
We'd also like to know if the TV Freezes When Watching a TV Program only, if, please try the following:
1. Perform a Forced Factory Reset (Option C) .
2. If the issue still occurs, verify if it happens while watching a program on a specific channel. Hide the channel that causes the issue, or the channels not used from the channel listing on the TV.

Open box excellent doesn’t power on

After a grueling trip up the stairs and setting it up the picture quality looked nice. This lasted a total of one hour then the tv would constantly restart and flash a red light in the front 5 times over and over. Had to return it which was a difficult trip not sure why best buy sells defective tvs as “open box excellent” I will never buy an open box product again.

I replaced a 20-year old plasma screen and expected a noticeable (i.e., stunning) improvement in picture quality. I guess my old TV was just too good. The primary benefit was moving from a "dumb" TV to a smart one. That's been nice.
