    Overall I'm disappointed. I thought a Sony OLED tv would be so much better than my previous Sony 55" XBR55X900H LED tv. I don't really see any difference for the $400 dollars additional cost. Even viewing in a dark room.

    Had this tv for 3 years now, not only is the image quality AMAZING but the sound from the tv itself is impressive as well! Incredibly happy with this purchase and hope to buy another soon to put in another room in the house. Very user friendly, and we love the voice control feature, very helpful when my husband has fallen asleep with the remote on his side of the bed, all I have to do is say “Okay Google, turn off the tv” and it shuts right off.

    Product did not work right out of the box. Switched to a LED TV. Geek squad and store management did great at recovery of situation.

    I returned this after watching 1 movie on it. The picture quality was only marginally better than my lg nano90 (an led and not older)

    The TV itself is great. No complaints. But the Best Buy Geek Squad installation was a complete nightmare, from start to (non) finish. Would I use BB again? Never.

      We need more details regarding your concern. In the meantime, power reset the unit, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on. We also recommend updating the software of your AV receiver. A firmware update improves the functionality and features of your device. It can provide fixes to any performance issues that may occur.

      Hi KSbes, We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Sony TV. We'd love to troubleshoot the issue and make this a better experience for you. The XR55A80K supports Apple TV or Apple TV+ app. If you are experiencing difficulties or if you are unable to pair Apple devices to your TV using the AirPlay app or HomeKit, please try these steps to troubleshoot the issue.

      1. Restart your Apple device.
      2. Enable the Sony Smart TV services via the Privacy Policy screen.
      -On the supplied TV remote, press the HELP button.
      -Go to Status & Diagnostics, and then select Privacy settings.
      -On the Privacy Policy screen, read the privacy policy; if you agree, scroll down to the very bottom of the policy, and then agree, at least concerning Sony Smart TV services, or select the Agree to all option if you desire.
      -On the TV remote control, press the Input button, and then select AirPlay from the input selection to display the AirPlay menu.

      Hi DaveB, We are sorry to hear you're unable to change the Wide mode/Aspect ratio settings on your TV. This issue may occur on your TV due to the following:

      1. Wide mode settings aren't available during a 4K playback from an external device such as a Blu-ray Disc player, game console, etc.

      2. If you connect an external device or video source to an A/V receiver that has 4K Pass-Through feature.
      - Make sure to connect the external device directly to your TV.

      3. If you stream an app and then press the WIDE button, the TV displays "Feature not available". -This is normal operation.
      -Change the aspect ratio on the app's settings.
      - Most applications don't have an option to adjust aspect ratio.
      -Make sure to check for available app updates.

    Best upgrade Ive ever experienced

    Just upgraded to the A80K 55inch for my room. Previously i had a 42 inch TCL LED. I thought it was gonna be too big or not worth the picture quality because both were 4k…but was I wrong. The Sony is amazing screen to look at, it makes every content I view pop and look great. I would recommend you buying a sound bar just for a bit more punch in audio. Good to game on, 120 VRR. Only 2 HDMI 2.0 ports so if you have multiple 4k supported systems or eArc audio equipment, you may have to mess around with your set up. 10/10

    Worked good for a week. Then it will not change stations of shutoff. I changed batteries and still the same. Return to Bestbuy

    At the time I purchased this TV, I didn't realize it was a google TV. Because of this, I could not screen mirror from my apple mobile or could not download my Xfinity app to watch TV. Do your homework before buying a TV. Depending on what you plan on doing or the mobile phone service you have, will depend on the TV you should purchase. Returned this TV

    Wow, this TV is amazing. Owned for a month or so. Every Movie or Tv show is like seeing for the first time. Better than I had imagined!. Worth every penny! Sound even surprised me, I was concerned it wouldnt be loud enough! Has Great Sound! Even my Wife Loves it. She was extremely sceptical! Thank You Sony & Best Buy!

    Love the TV but get warranty

    Huge Sony fan here. Currently own 2 Bravia XR 55 and 77. But please buy extended warranty my 55 decided not to work after a year and half. The warranty expired called Sony and they said good luck call a local tv repair, local tv repair determined that the Oled was the problem and there is no parts available, wrote his findings called back Sony and they decided after a week to replace the unit free of charge.
