Setting up is a steep learning curve -- manual doesn't mention that the setup menu of your AVR only appears when video is not in play (disconnect all outside cables first except the AVR connection to HDMI port 3 and use that port for the menu). For some reason it is not an Android system like previous BRAVIAs, but Google Play, yet the main apps are available, so there's not much difference, although app menus seem a little slower to appear -- due to larger bandwidth, I suspect . Picture is glorious! Took me a few days to setup, including a Geek Squad team visit and a morning on the phone talking to support from the Denon team (for my AVR setup; it is new, too). I upgraded to this system for the sound -- eARC finally works, yay, with an updated AVR and HDMI 2.1 cables, and it sounds fantastic on my 7.2.4 system. Streams Dolby Atmos from apps! Once you figure out hopping around on all the menus and remotes, it is much easier to transition between external HDMI connections compared to my previous BRAVIA. Glad I made the leap: cutting edge tech is always a pain to use at first, but the end result has me wanting to go back and re-watch movies and shows -- looks and sounds much more like an actual movie theater now than any combo I have had before! Wish I had more room for the tv, I would love to go even larger to a 65 inch screen 8').

Out With the Old, In With the New!

Good with one issue only

My only complaint is Google TV and YouTube are very slow to open. We literally turn on the tv, and wait 5 min before we can access any channel or open YouTube. Our other streaming channels open immediately, no issues. Geek Squad set it up for us so I believe it is properly installed. The rest of the tv features are good, we like the sound quality.

So for this, it came that way from manufacturer. However no issues with the second tv and has clean clear picture.

Amazing tv

I owned the a8h and had to get new one due to burned pixels. The a8h cost me over 2k and this one was 800 bucks cheaper. Dont regret buying this. Had to buy another one for my room.
