The thin bezel and ability to mount the TV close to the wall are appreciated. Its bright and sharp and the sound is good even without a sound bar.

If you get a good movable stand you can have you're TV being seeing from any part of the room. Easy hookup to Roku or Amazon Sticks to the HDMI Ports and finally Great Picture Enhancements.. Buy one and you'll feel the sane wat!!

Great picture, lack of inputs

Specs said 1 x Component video, 1 x Composite video, however there is nowhere to plug in three plug component (red, white, yellow) so no dvd player, have to just use my blu-ray. Also it says Number of HDMI Inputs 4, but there are only 3 inputs (just 1 120hz) and 1 output (120hz) for sound. But I love the picture, would have given it 5 stars except for the lack of inputs.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This OLED set has a beautiful picture that almost adds another dimension to TV viewing, especially for streaming services that offer content in 4KUHD, and Dolby Vision. Dolby Atmos sound has enhanced the audio quality of my existing sound bar and made it resemble that of a separate three speaker system. There is a little bit of a learning curve to master setup and use, but the TV has an excellent voice recognition function that will respond to many commands.

The Enthusiast's TV - Excellent All Around

It is really the enthusiast's set, in all regards. Sure, it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. On a weird note, though - the top of my panel is ever so slightly curved in a convex manner. It doesn't affect anything negatively, but for how expensive this set was, I would have expected it to be perfectly flat-screened (unless that is not the intention). Maybe SONY will comment on this review and let us know.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only bought Sony televisions just like only buying Hondas or Toyotas you pay for quality and at three grand I had to make sure, so I read all the reviews, and I went to see it at Best Buy, the picture is amazingly bright twice as bright as other televisions, colors are deep and crisp and the speakers in this thing are incredible the sound comes right at you the whole screen is a speaker it seems, and you do not need a soundbar with this tv, while watching movies it really puts out base and the sound is loud and incredible, I do think this was a great purchase and worth the price you will have a tough time trying to find one better, and you probably will not.

I thought the center-channel speaker feature was just a gimmick, but I was very wrong, it is a thoughtful alternative use of the audio capabilities of the TV, and it has decent bass. I love the way the TV controls the other devices in my system. My old hookup worked well but it was too complicated for my wife to operate; the A95L solves that problem. Note I didn't give it "excellent" for brightness because OLED technology cedes that territory to other types of displays. But it is brighter than other OLEDs, even ones using the same Samsung panel.

The tv is amazing, the colors are stunning, and the extras make this tv the best I’ve ever owned. On a side note, my first tv had some technical issues and Sony took wonderful care of me. I received a new tv and I couldn’t be happier.

It is more expensive than the LG G3 and the Samsung 95C; however out of the box, it's great and from what Sony says, it doesn't need to be calibrate unless you really want to. I use it for the PS5 and it's a must have for gamers who want an easy sync between sony products. Seeing tv shows and movies not in 4k will also see the tv does a good job on SD and HD shows/movies. Sound is also great and you can add more volume to voices and backgrounds in the settings. I got the tv day one on release and it was worth it for me. I got the 55 inch but heard the 65 is the best.

If not then Sony’s cheaper XR OLED varieants will do just fine. DONT COMPROMISE gaming quality by buying Samsung or LG. They just dont stand chance againt this bad boy!!
