As a matter of fact, it's one of the more costly ones but.... well worth every dollar. We first purchased a 55" LG and returned it almost immediately, exchanging it for the Sony 55" Bravia. The Sony's color is sharper and the remote is so much easier to use, plus the TV has more options. While the TVs sound is okay, using a sound bar enhances the sound quality.

The colors are incredible and the screen is sharp. It is also very evenly backlit because of the full array LEDs. The built in speakers are also surprisingly good. You can hear more low end frequencies on this TV than on most others. The Google TV is very easy to navigate and works exceptionally well. As always, Best Buy provided a top class buying experience.

Purchased after returning the new Vizio OLED 55', had several issues. Easy to set up the physical TV, as well as intuitive settings to ensure my devices were optimized for the best possible picture. Works great with all my other Sony products, and the picture looks amazing. I use both my PlayStation 4 and PS5 on it. The image quality with my PS4 is better than my previous 9 year old 1080P 3D Sony Bravia I was using. There is no whiting out or blurring and the image is crisp even though the output is only 1080 with the PS4. With the PS5 and the onboard video streaming services it is even more amazing!

The upgraded processor is noticeable, as there is less lag and judder than the lower model. The Google platform is very easy to navigate, quick app setups & remote is very easily programmable with other devices. The TV also auto recognizes your inputs and names them, making it very easy to setup and start watching within about 15 min.

I did not like the blurriness with the black color. It lacked definition in black clothing. After researching, it was contributed to the panel that Samsung uses on the q85 model. I returned it for the Sony x90j. love this one. I've been a Sony tv owner for over 25 years, should have learned my lesson back then. I did not rate sound quality since it is connected to a sound bar.
