I've been a Samsung TV owner for many years, so it was a tough decision to switch to a Sony TV. However, I've been nothing but impressed with this new TV! The image is amazing, and the sound is like no other sound I've heard from a TV - you don't need any external speakers! Additionally, the salesperson at BB was amazing, he walked me through the differences between the Samsung TV and Sony, and I'm glad he did. It's an easy TV to set up, and I love that you can search through all of your streaming devices with a click. No need to log into other sites everytime.

Loved my new Sony TV , perfect size, colors, menu easy to navigate. I have no problems connecting it to my WIFI. Highly recommended.

This TV has a beautiful picture! This is my first 4K TV, so it is a big upgrade from what I had been using. I use it primarily for gaming, and the picture really pops, especially with HDR enabled. My display is very clean with almost no dirty screen effect. The corners of the screen are slightly darker than the rest, but it is only noticeable if you are looking for it. It is by far the best TV I have ever owned in terms of uniformity. The Google TV interface has no lag and all of the apps I use are supported. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

The TV itself is incredible for not being OLED. Very bright, HDR, Dolby Vision content all looks amazing. The software on the TV leaves a lot to be desired, but I don’t use the built-in “smarts”. Instead, it’s hooked up to an Apple TV and a PS5. The only reason I can’t give this TV 5 stars is because it’s lacking in some of the “smarts” department, unless I’m missing something. Volume adjustment with another remote like the Apple TV one works, but no volume indicator pops up so you go by ear. The TCL Roku TV that this Sony replaces had no issues with that. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. It’s an incredible TV overall and when gaming I can’t help but smile at how much of an upgrade this was from a TCL 5-series.

I bought this for my PS5 and Xbox series S and was not disappointed. The picture quality is amazing. Make sure to use HDMI 3 & 4 for next gen systems, they are both 2.1 ports that will allow 4K with 120 FPS. When using the PS5 it automatically changes to game mode for best quality and settings. The only thing lacking is vrr but Sony will update via firmware in the future. Sony never disappoints with their TVs.

Superb television! I was a little disenchanted with this TV at first; it did not seem to have very brilliant color (and I am really picky about this!) You can run this on VIVID setting, but this is not advised. I did have the general viewing set to VIVID but I made a lot of modifications. I even 'tweaked' a little for the EXPERT SETTINGS. Don't be intimidated by articles which suggest that only experienced personnel should use these settings. They are worthy of experimentation, in my view. Overall, I am really satisfied with the quality picture that this Sony set provides. Note about picture settings: turn black levels (on brightness settings) DOWN LOW. I first thought that turning this setting higher would give the 'black saturation' which looks so good, but you have to turn the setting DOWN. If you turn this one way up, the dark colors are 'washed out' looking as are the shades of charcoal and black. The 4k content to be found on YouTube is breath-taking with the right settings. Since I am not a gamer, I can offer no advice about use of these peripherals. The TV is well set to received wireless internet; this seems to work much better than my other 4k set. I think the cost of $1000 is about right for this one; you may able to find other brands with as good a quality picture at a lower price but I am very happy with this one. I also had bought a new Sony receiver and it interacts really nicely with the TV. This more or less is a good home theater combo ( I have surround sound Klipsch speakers which do a real nice job. You can blow the roof off with the receiver if you want to.) Overall, really satisfied with this purchase.

Highly recommend this TV. It has superb picture quality, great sound, and is very well built. It uses Android and supports many of the same apps as your phone! Amazon, Disney+, Netflix and others all work flawlessly and navigation using the remote is easy. Plus you can use a Bluetooth keyboard. One small problem for me is that it doesn't have an HDMI output, so I can't use it with a Philips Hue Sync box. Still, I highly recommend this TV!

I bought this 4k tv for the Master bedroom. I currently have an 85 inch Samsung 4k TV for my home theater TV. I hate to say it, but this TV beats it in every category. Picture The last TV I had in a bedroom was a 43 inch 1080p Sony TV. I loved that one because the picture quality was EXCELLENT even cokpared to some 4k tvs. This one is no exception. With the Full Array Local Dimming, you get great color vibrance, contrast and great darks and lights. The brightness on the TV is perfect for a large bedroom. Normally I do a lot of customization on my TV setti gs to get the picture just right. With this one I set it to IMAX Enhanced and left it there! Sound I normally hold the belief that you should always have additional speakers for your tv, or a soynd bar at least since TV speakers usually suck. The mids are actually really good hear and allow for dialogue to be heard easily. The Sony Bravias also have Spacial Audio technology that allows for sound to be bounced around so it sounds like things are coming from the sides (think Diet Dolby Atmos). Now, while this technology is really cool, the low end bass is still lacking and in a larger room than a bedroom, I dont thibk you would really notice the Spacial Audio as much. Price This is an expensive TV, there are certainly cheaper options and thise cheaper options are great too. So yoy arent talking about leaps and bounds here when you are comparing this TV to a slighly cheaper Samsung. But when you pay the extra money you are getting a little more sharpness, a little more vibrance, a little clarity and for that I believe its worth it.

This is an outstanding TV. I have had the 65" version for 2 years and had the need to upgrade in another room. I hesitated due to price premium over rivals brands, but I feel the image quality ends up being better IF you have the eye for the detail AND are going to use the 4K HDR feature more often. If you just need a good HDTV, this is probably overkill. In the end, you get what you pay for. I don't have these in every room, but the two where I watch the most content and consume 4K get the Sony.

The Sony was very easy or set up. The picture is really beautiful. The color is true, and the blacks and whites are gorgeous.

High quality TV. Picture is amazing. Sound is fantastic, better than I expected. Easy to use. My one criticism at this point is the display info for program description is much too small to read. Changing the text magnification makes it too large and displays at top of screen through a whole series of snippet that flash on screen briefly. So, the normal display of program info is too small while text magnification is too large. Other than that I love the quality of this TV.

Although I only use it for streaming, the quality of the TV is great. I typically use the "Vivid" color setting, and wow. Not sure why the others are even options. My only other recommendation would be to try placing the TV away from any bright windows as the glare could be too much at those brightest times. Other than that, the Google tv is simple and a great option if you happen to have other google products (I don't, but might consider in the future).

We love our new Sony TV. It’s not the first one I’ve owned, and their quality is excellent. We upgraded from a 25” Samsung to a 55” and the improvement is impressive. The resolution of the picture is amazing, as well as the color and contrast. The integration with wifi and bluetooth are very well done. The only negative is Sony’s love affair with Google. We use some apps, like BritBox, which aren’t Google apps and we can’t install them. I have to cast it from my iPad.

Awesome picture. I also own a Sony OLED that was twice the price. We needed a second TV for a super sunlit bright room. Since it was mainly for news and kid shows, I wasn't worried about all the theater benefits of OLED. But honestly with what Sony does with there full-array local dimming instead of edge lit, it really does to well with true black areas. Also nice that the remote is LED and Bluetooth so it was able to control my hide away cable box.

OMG awesome TV without having to get an OLED. Yes OLED gets the best blacks but this is perfect without risking burnin issues. Great for next gen consoles needing HDM1 2.1 for 4K 120fps. Note very few console games can run at 120FPS. But its nice to have. X90J is a 2021 model. But in most areas is better than X90K 2022 model.

I was lucky to get this tv on a deal of the day price of $799! The picture is amazing and it gets really bright which is just what I needed for our living room. I originally went to the store to get the Samsung Q60b but when I compared the HDR pictures the Sony with Dolby Vision is definitely better than the Samsung since Samsung doesn’t offer Dolby Vision.

The best of all the many TVs I closely judged. And a reasonable price for the quality.
