I replaced a LG OLED TV with bad burn in with this TV and was worried about loss of black and less vibrant colors. I'm impressed with the results. Very good initial setup software that intelligently configures devices and remotes. Configuring some of the image modes is a little more manual that I would like, but otherwise a great TV

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you're looking to use this as a monitor for a PC be aware there's several issues that can make the X90J a headache for you. 1. The screen will infrequently, over 8 an 8+ hour day, black out for 5-7 seconds. I tried 3 brand new HDMI cables it still happens. Bad if it happens at the wrong, like playing a game, otherwise it's just annoying. 2. After shutting down the PC, either normally or unexpectedly like the power goes out, when you boot it back up the TV will show distorted image of black/purple/green. Changing options in the TV won't fix this. Hopefully you have a second monitor you can pull up your display settings on and change the resolution for this TV, then the TV will display normally and you can change the resolution back to what you normally use. 3. Updating graphics drivers can cause the same issues and number 2, the resolution change will also solve this issue. 4. Some older games I've tried to play, that default to a smaller resolution, will cause the TV to display purple and black lines. If you can get the game onto a second monitor and get it to a larger resolution it might solve the issue. When it works it works as I would expect, 120hz and HDR are good. If you are going to use this as a PC monitor then be prepared to deal with the above issues.

Since you are having multiple issues and you already updated the firmware of the unit and still having the same issues, we suggest resetting the TV to factory settings to further isolate these issues. Wonderful 4K tv

I was coming from a 55” 1080 panasonic, about 6 years old. Nothing wrong with it, just felt it was time to jump into 4K, and bought an Xbox series X at the same time. They are a PERFECT pair! Even watching reruns of CSI on Hulu I swear looks better. The interface is really nice as well. Has plenty of display options, 4K 120hz, Dolby etc.

So I decided to pick this Sony for her. The picture on this TV is fantastic. I would recommend the "Custom" picture mode as it seems to be the most accurate picture of them all. There are specific settings you may find through a Google search which will make the picture look even better. The only downside I have seen and noticed on this TV is that it has a slight vignetting issue in the very corners. I mean, when you look at a very white or very clear color scene, you will notice the corners look slightly darker than the rest of the picture. Other than that. Good set. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a mid-range, fairly priced TV.

For the size and the price it was a great buy. I have a LG cx 65in 4k TV in my family room and compared to that the Sony is great but the LG is definitely more crisp and brighter. If you're looking for a great value smart TV (the smart apps and ease of use are great) than I recommend this TV. Paired with a Sony soundbar and couldn't be happier that it all works and sounds great.

Was a Samsung fan until one of their failed panels made it’s way into a unit I purchased from them. They do not stand behind what they sell. Sony is my “goto” brand now. Good tv. Good picture.
